I'm sure many of you have been watching a movie or a TV show and found yourself thinking, "I could do better than that" or "I really wish they would have done this". Today, I was watching Skyfall and at the end, there was the big shootout and such at Bond's family home. Of course this is all well and good, except for the fact that this is supposed to be a prequel, and yet they are using much more sophisticated technology that they were in the original films. This whole clusterfuck of continuity could have been avoided had they just made James Bond be the name given to the agent who carries the title of 007 (or just made it using period cars and weapons and such). But now, instead we are subjugated to a future that is in the past.
Maybe I'm just a sad angry nerd who needs to accept its just a movie and relax, but I'm willing to bet that a good portion of you guys (and gals) have experienced something similar.
Also, this could apply to books as well, maybe you felt the author should have gone a different way at some point.
