Wasn't fixed while I was playing it on PC (around the time the game got ported over).Mr Ink 5000 said:its been a while, i got it day 1 on the PS3. theres an area, i think call Blight Town, which slows the frame rate down to about 5FPS, has that been fixed? I never had problems with Blight Town on my PC, so I take it that its been fixed.Mr Ink 5000 said:its been a while, i got it day 1 on the PS3. theres an area, i think call Blight Town, which slows the frame rate down to about 5FPS, has that been fixed? I used a 3rd party program but I don't recall which one I used offhand. I believe I found it on Dark Souls Nexus. The camera still sucked compared to a proper precise mouse driven one, but I got used to it.NeutralDrow said:Really? How did you lower the mouse sensitivity? I switched to a controller once I found that the slightest twitch of the mouse meant doing a 20-degree turn...Clive Howlitzer said:Once you install all the fan made mods and fixes, the game is fine on PC with keyboard and mouse. I'd argue it even controls better than a controller but I am crazy like that.
I played the game near launch on PC and had no framerate issues in Blight Town even without DSFix (which I didn't install until I hit Quelaag). For reference, I'm running a system with A Core i5 2500k, a GTX 550Ti and 8GB of RAM.Mr Ink 5000 said:its been a while, i got it day 1 on the PS3. theres an area, i think call Blight Town, which slows the frame rate down to about 5FPS, has that been fixed? The Canadian dollar is 0.96 cents and has been about that much or more for the last number of years.Rellik San said:To be fair, he could mean Canadian or Australian Dollars in which case, that isn't that much.
ok thanks, nice to have a frame of reference for specsScrabbitRabbit said:I played the game near launch on PC and had no framerate issues in Blight Town even without DSFix (which I didn't install until I hit Quelaag). I don't play it too often, anymore, but I've only had one troublesome invader. I was in the Undead Burg with a new character and was invaded by a guy with very high-level gear. Apart from that, I'm only rarely invaded and it's usually a fair fight.Mr Ink 5000 said:ok thanks, nice to have a frame of reference for specsScrabbitRabbit said:I played the game near launch on PC and had no framerate issues in Blight Town even without DSFix (which I didn't install until I hit Quelaag). Do you still play it? Do many people cheat while invading?

I feel like wasting any more money on this game would be ridiculous at this point (-.-)
You'd think they would have big warnings before buying the game on steam :/

$5000-$6000 does not equal a "decent PC". A decent PC can easily be made for a fraction of that price, hence many peoples surprise. Saying yours is "decent" compared to someone who, for instance, spent $1000 on theirs is the equivalent of comparing a perfectly functional, affordable family car to a Ferrari. They both get you from A to B, but more people probably consider you a mad eccentric tosser for driving the latter.Sylvain Roux said:Sorry for the Necro, but a lot of people seemed infuriated by my "specs" so... yeah...
I don't understand why it is so unthinkable to have a decent PC.
