I must say this game has certainly got me torn. I'm primarily a PC gamer and, even though I occasionally dip into some of my older PS3 games every now and then, I haven't bought a new one or even had the urge to buy one in at least 18 months.

However, there's something about this game which just appeals to me so much. I honestly don't know what it is, I just thing it looks and sounds awesome! I'm so tempted to blow some dust off the PS3 and get this one.

(For those with lack of better knowledge, its Conquest, War, Famine, Death from first to last)
Its actually war, famine, pestilance (sp?) and death.

And this games look interesting enough to warrant purchase
Yeah... You haven't read the bible (Or the Wikipedia page for that matter)

So... Here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Horsemen_of_the_Apocalypse

And heres the verse from the bible. Also, Pestilence and Conquest are one and the same.

(Conquest)

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

(War)

When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword.

(Famine)

When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

(Death)

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth."

Also one last thing.

Know what the fuck you're talking about before telling people they're wrong.

I don't care if you believe in Pestilence against Conquest, but War sure as hell isn't the first damn horseman.

Aparently they just made the four horseman up for the game. If I find that video again I'll post it in the OP.
I realize, but I see no reason for them to just say "War is the Second Horseman"

I don't think it'd be any less epic.

He's still War.

The Story (What I know of it so far) still works.

Its taking a perfectly good sandwhich, then remaking it into another sandwhich that has the same ingredients, just in a different order.

Hey, that was pretty good.

That was pretty good. So going by that, it will still be a great sandwhich, just slightly different... Actually not that different at all...

It won't change the gameplay, but it just made me angry when the guy just kind of shouted it to the heavens (Ironic) and said "War, the First Horseman of the Apocalypse"

It just bothered me. He could have said "War, the First Horseman of the Apocalypse, for our own purposes, or for the purpose of the story"

I'm looking forward to this, I need a game to enjoy on my XBox 360 now that I beat Tales of Vesperia. The story reminds me a bit of Diablo, and the gameplay looks pretty cool too, like they mashed together elements from a whole bunch of games that did their own things really well.

Well, isnt someone awfully touchy.

As someone no doubt as learned as you kmows each version of the bible is different, with different translations. The two that i have read said pestilence.

In conclusion, don't be such a dick in future

In conclusion, don't be so snooty about how you're obviously right, and I was wrong.

I know pestilence is a different version of Conquest.

Congratz, you read a different version of the bible.

Doesn't mean its right or there are different versions.

So... Before you tell someone off, make sure it doesn't apply to you to?

After playing the demos of Dante's Inferno and Bayonetta and discovering that yes, I still generally dislike that gameplay, I don't know what to think of this any more.

Never heard of it until now to be honest.

The video does look interesting though.
