I think people take my threads the wrong way. I am being serious about believing in Darwinism and I do think Bush is a good president all things considered. There is no reason to be so hostile. I just wanted to see if anyone agreed with me.
You believe that Darwinism is legit AND that Bush was a good president. I'm confused, because believing in Darwinism makes me think you have some logical ground to stand on, but believing that Bush was a great president makes me think you might still go to bed early on Christmas because you're afraid Santa knows when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake.
I will admit, that was so mean it was amazing. I liked it alot. I just think he did the best with what was given to him. it was a tough run and I believe it would be hard to do any better. With that said I also like Obama, I think he has done good and I also voted for him. I just support the presidents because I love America. I bleed red, white, and blue. As for Darwinism there is just so much evidence to back it. It is just logical for it to be true.

Darwinism is not the same as evolution...

Darwinism is the belief that in human society only the strong should survive.

Oh and yeah not believing in evolution is the epitome of ignorance.

The difference between a scientific theory and a scientific law is purely nomenclature.

Theories get thrown out as soon as evidence is found which is incompatible with the theory. Laws are called such because nobody is looking for evidence against them anymore.

Gravity is still a theory, technically.
Nope, it's a law.
you are mistaken my friend; there are two things here:

Newton's law of universal gravitation - The law
Theory of Gravity - the theory that the above law is actually the explanation of what is referred to as gravity.

believe in whatever you want, I don't care because my opinion will affect yours as much as yours will affect mine

meaning no effect whatsoever

area may play some effect. but being from the south, it also depends on the people if they can let go of what was shoved down their throats as young kids.

So I heard there was a dead horse here? I brought enough sticks for a few extra people, so we may have to share.

Whoa there troll. Don't say that you have to support the president to be a good American. Quite the opposite; To be a good American, you must question your government and ensure that they are carrying out their mandate.

Even if someone doesn't believe in it? I'm pretty sure I could come up with some crazy idea to replace gravity. Like a bunch of fairies pushing us down onto the ground so we don't fly off.
Hey, how dare you mock the Theory of Fairy Pull!
Fairy Push > Fairy Pull
IMO, of course.

Damn straight. I voted Obama, but you'd better bet I've got my eye on him, and when he does or says things I disagree with, I'll stand up and say it. And if he does enough things I disagree with, like George Bush has, then I'll say that by my standards he was a bad president.

*yawn* You people need to know when religion threads are no longer wanted. The people who start religion threads are just trolls who want to argue over it. Now please, enough of them. I'm so sick and tired of people just making these pointless threads just to bash on thesists. I'm tired of being flamed for what I believe in. If you don't want to be called a troll, then don't make a religion thread. If you're just making one just to get a high view thread, then you need to get a life. I realise that the Escapist is a place for all opinions, but each and every religion thread turns into a thesist bashing flame war. At least half of the off topic threads are about religion, and it's getting tiring. Now, please, end this thread.

Oh for fucks sake, why do you respond to an obvious troll?
Why am I a troll? It makes no sense. It is an opinion. You are just hating because my team is winning. Evolution has very few flaws as far as theorys go. If the government was not controlled by religous figures odds are that evolution would be fact by now.

You are wasting your time.
He actually is a troll.
The name, the stupid OP, the other threads...
It's pretty much a fact.

That, or he is incredibly ignorant.
Ignorance is bliss.
