DC Universe so... much... fun!!

Omg, the game so much fun, just traveling about is fun, picking the acrobatics movement and being able to climb, hover for a bit, and jump like crazy is a blast. Not to mention the real-time combat being lots of fun too.

For discussion value: Now that it is f2p, are you going to play it? If you have already, what do you like about it?

Also if anyone is a Hero, PVE, and on US servers want to play? My psn is Korten12 and ingame name is Korten in Gotham.

Yup. Downloaded it yesterday. Have to wait till work lets out to get into though but I launched it to make sure the game doesn't crash on load. On PC that is.

Gonna give it a few gos, see what its like. I loved DDOs action combat so if its anything like that I'll love it. If its good from then on I may drop $5 or so and unlock some other stuff.

I tried this game around my friends house with his levelled up character, it didn't seem fun to me. I then tried the demo, and it still didn't seem fun to me.

The combat seemed very dull too, I imagine it gets better over time when you unlock more spells/ abilities, but I'm not willing to sink time into that.

Anything new besides the F2P since last year?

I'm downloading it all 14 gigs X.X, heh, it'll probably be like my Champions Online experience three hours in character maker and half an hour to figure out yeah, I don't like this.

I haven't played a pc game in years... YEARS!!! The last one was Guild Wars. When it came out... then my desktop computer broke, and i'm stuck with a lousy laptop...

Yeah, the bad thing about all the P2P gone F2P games is they all seem to have f'n huge file sizes when I tried Conan it was 16gigs, I wonder how big Star trek online will be when it goes Free at the end of the year.

Yup. Sony made it available for both PS3 and PC. Both are F2P now as well.

Oh, I see.

I meant I was able to use the information to log into other Sony Station things (DCUO site, generic Sony site) but not the actual DCUO log-in to get to the game.
