"mcnally86" I tried adding me and it said I cannot add myself. So I know that works.OverweightWhale said:I'm having trouble finding you. I searched for your name and it shows no results.mcnally86 said:No.OverweightWhale said:Did anyone get my steam friend invites? Just curious.
How is it that you have it?Just_A_Glitch said:I've got it, though due to work, I haven't had much chance to enjoy it. I have the next four days off though, in which I'm going to fucking destroy it.
I'm only ten percent in to the main story, but so far I'm really enjoying it. Its like Oblivion fused with Left 4 Dead, at least for the blunt weapons expert character. I've read from reviews that a lot of people felt it was very reminiscent of Borderlands.
But I recommend it to everyone. Its been very good to me thus far.
Game store in my town (legally) breaks street date. They explained it to me once how they get around it, but I can't for the life of me remember.mcnally86 said:How is it that you have it?Just_A_Glitch said:I've got it, though due to work, I haven't had much chance to enjoy it. Because no one leaked that they did on the internet? We have a small town game store but its seedy.Just_A_Glitch said:Game store in my town (legally) breaks street date. If I remember correctly, which I said earlier that I really don't, they buy their stock from a separate company that buys from the publisher/distributor/whoever the hell sells the games to stores, and that somehow lets them bypass street date. Something like that. They've assured me it 100% legal, and they have had companies try to take legal action, to no avail. It is a small business though (only three stores, all in the northern Ohio region).mcnally86 said:Because no one leaked that they did on the internet? Thats pretty good. Don't gamestop employees get in trouble for that?Just_A_Glitch said:If I remember correctly, which I said earlier that I really don't, they buy their stock from a separate company that buys from the publisher/distributor/whoever the hell sells the games to stores, and that somehow lets them bypass street date. So I've had pretty much any game I've wanted early for the past year. Halo Reach, Fable 3, Alan Wake, Marvel vs. Capcom, etc. etc. And now Dead Island (check my 360 game card on my profile here if you want to verify. Its the second game after MvC3).
It was funny. The day I got it, I was just playing around and ran into three other people all in a party. We joined up for a couple minutes and talked about how I had the game early. Me and three random Gamestop employees.
Not sure honestly, as I've never worked there. But my cousin has, and he said that on occasion, with new titles that don't have previous installments, or on titles that aren't as hyped up as the newest CoD, or Halo or whatever, sometimes employees are given a copy to test run for 24 hours a few days before its on the shelf, so they have some knowledge about the game. I'd assume more than just that one Gamestop does that.mcnally86 said:Thats pretty good. Ah well. As I said my small time game store is seedy. They accept trade ins for games or tattoos.Just_A_Glitch said:snap
So I could trade in my 360 towards a tattoo? That's... Interesting.mcnally86 said:Ah well. As I said my small time game store is seedy. They accept trade ins for games or tattoos.Just_A_Glitch said:snap
Name a zombie game that has a great story. Sorry, not even the godly Resident Evil 4 did a good job with that!OutrageousEmu said:I've heard the story is an atrocity.
