Sorry if I'm stealing your thread, but this needs posting ASAP. According to me.

$8.99/8,99? + F.E.A.R.: Extraction Point, F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate

One of my favorite FPS shooters, pretty atmospheric if you take your time and don't run-and-gun all the way through. Still has the best AI I've seen in any shooter game. Graphics aren't bad for it's age.

I vote sticky for this thread. Why not? It supports a good cause, right?

That is a pretty good deal. I didn't post it since it wasn't a sale, but since it comes with both expansions (which I didn't notice until now), hell yeah that's a deal!

Well, if you don't own it, you can buy it now. Just know that if you jumped on the Portal Deal, you pretty much won't be getting an extra copy. That's the only thing about Steam that really bugs me.

Also note that TF Mac compatibility is "coming soon" so if you buy it now, you can own it for when it comes around. Personally, I'm expecting a sale on TF2 when the Engie update comes out, so if you only want the OB for TF2, you might consider waiting. Though if you do that, you'll miss out on the rest of the Orange Box.

Both are available separately for $15 each.

As a side note, there is a Splinter Cell pack on sale, but I refuse to bring any real attention to it because it contains Ubisoft's always-online DRM.

Various compilation packs exist for this, but this is the granddaddy one, so it's all I'm going to post. Figure out the one you want if you are interested.

Sigh, I don't know what to say about this one. Supcom1 is my favorite RTS ever, and Supcom2 was so far from Supcom1 that I started to tear up when I realized how bad the game was in comparison. All that said, it isn't awful if I don't think of it as "Supreme Commander" and just another space RTS altogether. At $11, I just might get it anyway for the single player experience. I can't imagine that multiplayer would be anything anyone would be up for while the first game is still playable.

Notice: Shattered Horizon requires DirectX 10, a DirectX 10 compatible video card, and Windows Vista or Windows 7. There is no support for Windows XP or DirectX 9.
We have another free weekend here for an otherwise good game. It's $10 if you want to play it for longer though. Probably worth the money if you have the OS and video card to handle it.

3rd-party DRM: SecuROM
4 machine activation limit

Sounds like a pretty nice deal. It comes with a few extra maps from some DLC or something. Not too happy about the activation limit. I didn't get to see if there was a revoke tool or not.

Edit: There is under your tools section if you buy it. I found a thread discussing it.

Edit2: OUCH! [https://support.securom.com/pop_batmanaa.html] From what I'm reading here, it looks like you are not allowed to play the game on 2 PCs at all, and the revoke tool if for that, NOT restoring used activations.

Not the best TF2 sale ever made, but it's still worth the money. I have friends who have exceeded 1000 hours on it. If you haven't played it, you don't know what you are missing.

Looks alright. Got a metascore of 81.

Words can not describe how much I think this deal is awesome. Morrowind remains solidly my favorite game ever, and I believe that anyone who has a favorite game ever isn't really a gamer because having a favorite would mean neglecting all the other genres. For me, Morrowind transcended that, and I don't care if my gamer title is stripped from me. I've got Morrowind.

$8.50

While Oblivion is a good game, I just can't give it nearly the same credit I give Morrowind. At $8.50 though, it would be hard to find a better game for the price. At least when Morrowind isn't on sale :p

$25

Because of my destroyed expectations on Oblivion, I skipped Fallout 3. I can tell Bethesda is moving in a direction with their games that I'm not as much of a fan of. That said, I've seen some awesome gameplay from my friends, and with this being $25 for the GotY version, you get all the extra DLC stuff too.

I know some people love this game, and others hate it, but me, I like it because it is so unique. This game would only be half as cool if it was in third-person, but because it's in first person, it just feels like a new game. At $5, it's a definite thumbs up.

This one has always piqued my interest, and the menu system is really cool and flashy. I've not actually played it though, so I can't comment on the gameplay. Lots of people like it, so it probably is good.

Well, the parts of this pack are all 33% off, so if you don't want the whole thing, you don't have to buy the whole thing.

So it's Deus Ex's 10th birthday, and there is a sale on it now making it dirt-cheap at $2.50 each, or $5 for the pack. I know the sequel wasn't well accepted, but the first one was made during PC gaming's golden years. I also saw one of my friends playing it on his PC with a DX10 mod that made it look pretty shiny.

I counted and there are currently 710 games on sales. Some as low as 90% off.

One game no one ever played at all but was pretty fun is called Ghost Master. It's on sale for $0.95, not even a damn dollar! It's pretty corny (like, it's really corny) but it's a lot of fun.

I bought this solely based off your recommendation, so if it sucks I want my 0.95$ back.
