Seems cool the indie pack but I know none of the games. : ( Anything good/awesome from the pack?
altitude is good. it's a multiplayer 2d plane battle game, complete with perks, weapons and different planes.

The laser racer also is well liked. I almost bought it a while ago.

I have a friend that bought this and he LOVED it. However, it's got to be one of the buggiest games ever made, so it's up to you if you want to gamble the $7.50. I'm considering trying it myself.

This one looks fun. I bought it on another sale earlier. It's a platform/puzzle game, so I'm guessing if you liked games like the Gameboy Donkey Kong, or its spiritual sequel Mario Vs Donkey Kong, you probably will like this. I still have not played it, but the gameplay videos strongly resemble those Nintendo games. Other people that played it sounded like they really liked it, so I just need to get around to playing it myself.

I guess they are doing a Deal a day again this week. I probably should have stated that sooner for those who would check in more often then.

$37.40

I don't know if I can recommend this one or not, but I got it when it was on sale for $10 and it didn't seem too bad. I only played it once, but it seems REALLY nicely ported to the PC. It was a very standard JRPG story, and I'm kinda sick of those, but I'm still curious to go back and see what was going on. The battle system seems refreshingly complicated so no more hammering those attack buttons because you know you are just going to win.

It's Tomb Raider. I've never played any of them. Heard good things about this one though.

It's Tomb Raider. I've never played any of them. I think I heard good things about this one...ah, nevermind. I really don't know anything about these. If some one said they were all decent at some point, I guess their metascores of 80 already says that.

Yeah I hope they do that kind of sale every holiday season, it's a great way to clean up on older games from the past year.

Not much to say on these. I watched the Mini Ninjas videos and it looks really good. Gyromancer looks like a bad Bejeweled/Puzzle Quest clone. I remember hearing the reviews were kinda poor on it, however not too poor for this sale.

Both are available individually, at $15 and $7.50, but both seem like a ripoff at that price.

Both games have enough reputation of their own that I shouldn't have to say anything other than it's cheaper to buy both games than just Batman by itself.

Looks like a really good, realistic sniper simulator. It's metascore is 76 which is quite high for a $2 game.

I hate that Steam fucks my currency. That deal should bring Sniper Elite down to £1.30. It's £2. That's a bad example, but it makes everything so expensive!

Dragon Age Origins Digital Deluxe features Blood Dragon Armor, The Stone Prisoner, Bergen's Honor, Final Reason, Grimoire of the Frozen Wastes, Warden's Keep and much more.

Looks like a pretty good deal. I've avoided buying/looking at DA because I know by the time I actually get around to playing it, all the DLC will be released in a platinum pack for $20. Everyone I know has played it, it seems, and they all said it's an amazing game.

A non-deluxe version is available for $33.50, but it only comes with Blood Dragon Armor & The Stone Prisoner

Thanks for keeping up with this, Signa!
I picked up Sniper Elite, and it was worth the two bucks.
Don't think I'll be grabbing EQ, though.
I can't afford to lose much more of my already incredibly small life.

Well, that was fast. The new AVP is already on sale. Personally, I'd just pick up the old one for $5, but it sounds like that one while updated for modern PCs, also was a gimped version of the game. I can't remember for sure (too lazy to check) but I thought there was no MP in AVP2000. Anyway, this game has been selling hard despite some of its low ratings, so have fun!

@Neonbob:
Thanks for the complement. This all started as a post to share one of my favorite under-appreciated games at an incredible deal, and now I feel like Valve should be throwing me some cash for practically advertising for them :p They've added some features on the home page (or I just never noticed them) that have helped find the deals easier. This ends up being just 10 minutes of my time twice a week or so to share some potential fun with fellow gamers.

And yeah, EQ and any pay-per-month MMO sucks balls IMO. This thread is a great example of why. I can spend so little money on a ton of variety of games, and I won't get suckered into paying over and over again for the same thing. I still post the deals though: just because I hate MMOs doesn't mean others have to not hear about something they want.

Aaah, my second favorite game from last year. Though the main 5 campaigns can be beat easily, there is a lot to do afterwords. Namely, VS mode (which I find about 5x more fun than L4D's VS mode due to the new Infected) and user maps. Some of the best maps I've played were user maps in L4D, so there is a lot of promise for future campaigns to come around for L4D2.

If you are a fan of Diablo and haven't played Torchlight yet, then you owe it to yourself to throw down the $5 and try it out. You know a game is at least passable when Yahtzee doesn't fully grind its face into the dirt when he reviews a game. My favorite part is how they give you a pet to load all your crap items onto so you can send it to town to get your gold for you. It really breaks up the useless town-runs that so many RPGs suffer from. The only real downside to this game is that it's single player only, and hack-'n'-slash RPGs are always better when played co-op.

The Quake series has been around for years, and I doubt that more than a few of you have not played it. It was pretty much the oldest version of what we now know as the modern FPS that I've played. Anything older (like doom) used 2D engines and just didn't play the same way. Anyway, the whole sale is for 50% off, so if you want the titles individually, they range from $2.50 to $10

I'd be up for sharing my steam I.D. if anyone out there wants to play some Tf2.

I also just downloaded L4D today, I know it's late, and would love some people to play with on that as none of my friends want to fork out £25.
I'm happy for you to add me if you want to play L4D 1 or 2.
My steam ID is always either [ESC]Daedalus1942 or [Esc]Second Stage Turbine Blade.
Add either of those two if the other doesn't work.
