I feel for you. I was lucky to miss out the asking out bit, although it did completely knock me out of my "pyched up and ready to ask" moment. Someone told her in advance that i was going to ask. Must have been funny for her when i went, "hey..." and she went "why dont i just say yes and skip this part?" I was like "YEHWHA?......." I just kinda stared blankly at her for a while.

Ask if she wants to see a movie, it might be cliched but it makes your intention clear.

"I like you but im not saying it completly outright, i want to see if we can work."
