yeah, the problem with the death penalty is that it's irreversible. you don't
want to find out years later you executed an innocent.

Even though I'm for it (and that firing squads are good) you do have a point. It's like that one Batman short where he died because he was captured by a guy that he had put in jail for like 5 years when he didn't do anything wrong. The guy got Batman addicted to some drug and Batman ended up killing himself out of guilt for ruining this guy's life.

I would like to be executed the easy way. right after conviction get an hour with family then go out in the alley and get a bullet in the back of the head. cheap and easy. america should adopt this method. It would lower jail costs exponentially.

Ah. The death penalty. My favorite, and most encouraged punishment for crime. I support it, even in some non-murder cases. Like repeat offenders of certain crimes.

I'm almost 100% certain that all firing squad members are trained marksmen. And I'm also sure that if you are even eligible to be in a firing squad, you've known how to handle a gun for longer than a day, and could easily hit the guy in the head.

And yet you disregard the human life of the murderer simply because you don't want "financial burden". It seems to be a fairly obvious double standard.

Not morally righteousness, but simple common sense. If one is against murder, then they shouldn't really be sanctioning state sponsored murder of this kind for reasons of financial gain. If you are hateful and angry I can understand that. If you want people who have committed terrible crimes to go in the ground alive or be fed to sharks or something because you don't think they deserve to live - fair enough.

To attach money to this is pretty appauling.

I disregard the life of the murderer because they a murderer, thus I don't give a shit about them and don't think I should have to pay for someone I don't give a shit about. I'll do my part help pay for the poor and underprivileged, but don't expect me to feed, clothe and house cold blooded malicious killers. Not too hard to understand, is it?

I'm not sure any methods of execution are humane, but I would argue that some methods are better than others. If you would be okay with me if I were advocating removing fingers before drowning them in burning oil, perhaps you need to rethink what you consider appalling, no?
