Eden Hazard. What's Belgium and Chelsea to do then?

Terry Pratchett. How is Discworld going to exist?

Hiyao Miyazaki. Studio Ghibli may as well cease to exist.

Steven Fry, Richard Dawkins, Steven Pinker, Martin Amis, and Craig Venter.

The world was far darker after Christopher Hitchens died.

For me, it would mainly be ,Graham Chapman one of the iconic Pythons, as well as Nathan Fillion or Joss Whedon. If either (or both, god forbid!) died, there would be no more hope for Firefly, there would be no more Castle if Fillion died, and likely no more good ensemble films or series if Joss died. He does those spectacularly.

And as for Graham... Well, he's one of the surviving Pythons, and really, hes a living legend in British Comedy, or at the very least should be. I would most definitely mourn his death.

Of course, honorable mentions go to Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, and last but certainly not least, Tim Schafer.
Dude...I dunno if this is a joke or not...but Graham Chapman's long dead...
... You're right. For some reason, I mixed up Graham Chapman with John Cleese. I don't know what I was thinking.

honestly, i read this topic and said, yah i would be sad if a famous person i liked died. then i realized, i wouldnt be sad at all if any famous person died. i dont know them, they dont me. thus i dont care? ...interesting enough because i do like actors like Edward Norton, or Johny Depp. but if they suddenly died? i would just shrug.

am i a bad person? :(

Sir Ian McKellen, Tomas Haake, Maynard Keenan, Devin Townsend and Sean Bean (though he has had enough practice runs)

While I at the moment can't think of a person, I'm really suprised at how many people would only react with grief at the deaths of actors and musicians.
