The pain of death would go away eventually. I'll fight my way to Heaven.

I'd also immediately regret ever playing Demon's Souls.
Thankfully, it's bosses Defeated, so I have Demon's Souls out of my hair haha, however I do have the 16 Colossi and Organisation 13....say, wanna swap?

Option 1, because that existence still has a meaning, whereas limbo would have no meaning, and I just couldn't live like that.

Also, you got that line from Eddie Izzard back to front...

Where's the cake... dear sir, were you not truthful in revealing the cake... and then that means that the cake is a false proclomation?

Option 1, I'd die a lot but I can handle pain well, of course I did infact play God of War and Ares destroyed me and I was Kratos so I can't imagine how I'd do against him myself.

Option 1 is the obvious choice.

And really, picking it would make me very, very glad I've never played Demon's Souls, Ninja Gaiden, or Dead Space. Although I'm sure I'd be regretting playing God of War (fuck Ares), Super Meat Boy, and Bayonetta (seriously, how the fuck would I pull THAT off?).

I'm sure that the cherry on top would be fighting Sephiroth... twice. For both Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I'm sure by the time I'm done with THAT particular challenge, I'd have had a seven-foot katana jammed through my chest more often that I'd care to remember.

But the chance to meet Auron, The King of All Cosmos, and the entire cast of Persona 4? Worth. Any. Pain.
King of All Cosmos would just tell you that you were shit and you gotta go do it all again, I wouldn't wanna meet him, 'specially if he actually was God or something and he judged you after every boss fight.

OT: Option 1, I do hope that they are ordered by difficulty though. Either way some of these bosses I can't imagine fighting.

I'm assuming I'm taking place of the main character in Squad or Party based battles? Or am I just added into the party/squad for the battles?

I'm also assuming they're all real time and all look like the real world, so I dont get shrunk to any pixel form.

I can imagine it being pretty fun as long as I have a companion to help me, scary too though obviously...

Limbo is my idea of eternal torture; there is nothing I can think of worse than... well, nothing.
The painful option doesn't carry the eternal boredom and nothingness, so wins for me!

Number one who cares about pain, it would be totally awesome in fact short of not having the physical condition ideal for these fights killing an near infinite number of bad guys is my version of heaven.

this made me think of what i would do if i were sent to option 2 and was given 1 joint, seriously think about it if you were given anything you really enjoy, but can only be used once (my example, or food, or something like that) would you eat it as soon as you could or wait a bit or see how long you can stand without using it so that you have something to look forward to

number 1. After the first hundred or so deaths, I'd probably get used to it. It would also make for an awesome story once I got into heaven.

Option one, for certain. Yeah it would hurt, but you'd get used to that. Then you would have the satisfaction of being awesome.

Oh, and heaven. That too.

I'd take option one. Mainly because it's awesome. I'd take it that one wouldn't 'reset' after death physically and mentally.

Oh shit. I played several Monster Hunter games.

Worth it.
