I truly adored Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, if you're interested in a tactical RPG, definitely try it.
I also heard good things about Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, but since Belgian gamingstore owners have never heard of it I haven't tried it myself. It's a tactical RPG as well.
I've got custom firmware. Disgaea is awesome, and a lot smoother compared to FFT's sluggish flow. Been trying to find it in Belgian outlets as well, no go. I don't think it's ever been released in Belgium at all, actually.
But right, here's the list of recommended games, by me (excluding the ones OP has named) :3
Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness
Silent Hill Origins
Patapon 1/2 :if you already have the first, don't bother getting the second. If you've never played either, get the sequel
Loco Roco 1/2
Dissidia: Final Fantasy: you'll have to wait a few more months, but I've tried the Jap version and I'll definitely buy it in the store when it's out here
Rock Band Unplugged :not out yet, but come on... Rez/Frequency with modern rock music AND DLC? Sign me up!
Dj Max Portable: Beatmania, but in the palm of your hand
Guilty Gear X2 #Reload or Accent Core: Best fighting game series ever imo. I prefer #Reload, AC is a bit too fast for my tastes (and my main is Chipp Zanuff, the fastest char...)
Gitaroo Man Lives!: really fun rhythm game, it's just that there's only 8 or 9 songs in total... Parappa the Rapper has even less I think
BEATS: Has similar gameplay to Gitaroo Man, BUT you use your own music (you just put some mp3's on your memstick, and there you go, levels for you to play
GTA Liberty City Stories: once you get used to the controls, it's quite fun. I won't recommend Vice City, however... it just didn't have the right 'feel' to it (that, and a really annoying starting area which is a PAIN to navigate through)
Me & My Katamari: Katamari, but handheld. Controls are decent, though most diss it. It's still the same good ol' fun though.
