Centurions Verses Dinosaurs- I mean, my god, WHY did everyone say this game was so terrible? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!? Ok, the plot is basically, wizard opens portal to parallel world where Dinosaurs evolved and all the dinosaurs from the past actually roam around, forcing them to come and try to destroy the world, leaving only one lone centurion to try and stop them, but it's still incredibly awesome and even very touching game.
The weapons were imaginative! (The Raptor head launcher, the Tyranasaurus fang shooter, along with all the medieval weapons). Plus, there's the fact you can RIDE the roaming dinosaurs (I loved the Terradactyl, flight controls on that were some of the smoothest I've ever seen in a game) and...you're the romans fighting dinosaurs (anthromorphic dinosaurs with cool weapons and regular dinosaurs), how is that not awesome? Also helps the gameplay is really really good to once you learn all the intricacies of the controls, granted the learning curve is steep but once you get them down you'll have Faustus fighting Liopleurodons like a pro. Then there's the whole twist with Raptor Jesus which has to be seen to be believed, i won't spoil it but i'll just say..it's the best moment in the game. Although, alot of complaints are at the ending which i don't get: I mean, yeah, it's probably the saddest most depressing ending ever made (Putting Drakengard to shame), but it ended everything in a way that wrapped up most of the loose ends yet also left room for a sequel.
On the whole, this game was probably the greatest sandbox game made since Grand theft auto but also keeps a good enough story that makes you want to keep going and uncover what's really going on as well as growing to care for Faustus and the other numerous characters.
