And I see, interesting stuff. What defines Capoid and Astraloid? I'm guessing the 2nd one has something to do with Australia?

Edit: on a less mature note; 800th post! w00t!
Whoo, Congrats!

Capoid refers to the people who were based in the Cape of Good Hope region (South Africa and surrounding), I believe, because they developed diffterent physical characteristics than other Negroids, like a more golden skin, different facial features, things like that. Astraloids are the group of people that emigrated from Asia to populate the Southeastern Island areas like Australia and New Zealand.

ethnic heritage is what your background is...your race is the color of your skin.
in many venues these two terms are interchangable but there is a big difference.

All people from Latin American countries are Hispanic (their race) but being Hispanic does not give an accurate description of their heritage for example ethnic Colombians are quit different from Mexicans but both are Hispanic.

Just as White English people and white polish people are both white (obviously their race) but ethnically are different in their cultures.

This is why in many places in Africa they commit genocide against a particular "race" (if you watch the ignorant fucks that produce the news). But in actuality it is ethnocentrism or the belief that one ethnic group is superior to another.

Like the Nazi's wanted Anglo people not just white people in general

Sociologically, Race is an outdated concept that should be done away with as soon as possible.
not that i disagree with the theory of your statement, race also has a fairly uselful practical side eg. what race was the man who stole your handbag? (your not a racist if you jumped to what i did.. i blame the media)
How about: "What color was the robber's skin?" in the same way you ask "What color was his hair?" or "What color were his eyes?".
still thats iffy like yellow? for asian which i never really understood or caramel for latin people, its alot easier to just say he was an asian man than be like his skin was a pale white/whatever
