I couldn't say the exact number since the games didn't clock your hours back then but I played Heroes of might and magic 3 in almost every free hour for 5 years. I would guess at somewhere around 5000+ hours

Fortunately minecraft has no way to check playtime, else I'd have to face the soul crushing amount of time i spent playing it, conservative estimates put it well over 1000 hours.

Over 600 into Fallout: New Vegas due to tons of mods... I may have about that in Fallout 3 and various other, older titles, none of which are on a service that clocks game time.

Hell, I probably put a lot more than that into City of Heroes/Villains (played it for... 6 years? something like that), may it rest in peace.

After another fun Dark Souls pvp session yesterday, I decided to add up the total playtime from all of my characters (I haven't deleted any yet) and got about 600 hours. I've spent about 25 days of my life doing nothing but play Dark Souls. No regrets.

How about you guys?
Same here, Dark Souls. Played it to death, pun intended, up to 1,100 hours (maybe more). That includes my Day One files.
That pvp is just way too good.

Right behind that are SSBB: 400hrs, and Persona 4: 200hrs.

Not sure what my Halo 2 time levels out to but I have over 7,300 games played in it and many of those games were far longer than your average game of halo now a days (lots of long custom games and also matchmaking games where the game wouldn't actually end because someone would hold onto the bomb/flag before they patched that and just forced the game to run out of time). I also played RE Outbreak file 2 680 hours. Halo 3 I also played probably a thousand hours. Ah High School..

150ish days played spread across different characters in WoW, spread over about 4½ years....

1019 hours of TF2...

about 700-800hours of enemy territory: quake wars.

Don't think I want to know how many hours I've dumped into minecraft.... Probably a few hundred hours, easily.

Yeah, that's what lots of spare time during your senior high school years do.

well according to steam I've got around 1428 hours in Team Fortress 2 alone and with at least over 300 hours i have: Fallout: NV 484, L4D2 385 and borderlands 2 with 316 with about another half dozen games ranging from 200 to 100 hours, but that's just steam.... :p

there was a good steam analysis page around on the interwebz a while back that had all the crazy stats from your steam profile but seems to not be working. well heres the link should it magically start working again.

Diablo 2

1000's of hours, off an on from the original release through LoD and up to some relatively recent ladder resets.

D2 has to have some sort of record for the best support ever for a game. Free to play online with meaningful, free new content coming out a full 10 years after release. There has probably been more added to the game since it was released than was in it at launch.

In general or in one sitting? I can't answer the second one although it would probably be Duke Nukem 64...I once spent between 22 to 26 hours of a regular weekend playing it as a kid. As for overall hours clocked, probably something like...well Duke Nukem 3D. I've played it on the PC, N64 and, XBLA; playing it once every so many months in an extremely loose cycle that began back in about...I dunno, 98? 99? Other games that I've played the Hell out of would be Dynasty Warrior 3, Super Mario Bros, Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario World, Star Fox, Star Fox 64...these are all games I've played since childhood and still find time for. Hell, I pop in Ninja Gaiden and, SMB while I wait for downloads and, console updates at this point!

Multiple thousand hours on Rome Total War, but that's since the original release, so I don't have an exact amount.

If I had to guess, I'd say ~2500.

Total War in general I've probably hit 4000 hours - none of the others ever grabbed me as much.

I know that I logged way too much time into WoW, sadly (or perhaps thankfully) I don't have a definite count...though I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the play-time was more than a year. o.o
Yeah...quitting that game was probably the best thing I've ever done for myself. :p

I've also had several FFT files that went up to 99hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds (highest the clock goes)...think there were two or three files that I had managed that on. So clearly I've spent a lot of time with those.

More recently, the Mass Effect series. I could actually go back and add up all my playtimes to get an exact number, but just because I'm lazy I'll go with a rough estimate of 1,440 hours. 9 files on ME1 and 3 averaging 60 hours of playtime plus 6 files on ME2, also averaging about 60 hours of play time. (9x60)+(6x60)=1,440. :3

516 hours and counting on Skyrim. Probably around 3900 for LOTRO guestimating 15 hrs/week for 5 years. Those are probably my top two. I don't even think Pokemon has anything on that.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is over 200 hours but a lot of that time is probably from hanging out in lobbies and text chats at the team mission menu
I probably put more hours into Castle Crashers but that was over the course of two years-- mostly helping new people beat certain levels and unlocking characters.
Demons Souls, Dark souls, Skyrim, and a few other RPGs are around the 120-150 mark.

I usually feel the need to move on if I don't feel like there is anything else I can accomplish in a game. There are too many good games out there for me to to stick with a game after I feel it has been mastered or completed to the extent that I am satisfied with. I like the process of understanding and a learning everything about a new game more than anything else.

I have around 3000 games on League of Legends. Assuming that each game lasts on average for 30 minutes that makes it 1500 hours I think.

Somewhere between 8000-9000 hours in WoW over the course of 7 years. The prospect that I spent +-1/7 of all of that time logged in is somewhat terrifying.

According to Steam, I've put 640 hours into Crusader Kings 2, but I'd wager at least 100-150 of them were spent alt+tabbed. Hell I have it open right now.

However, I'm pretty sure I actually played Oblivion for more. There was a time of my childhood entirely devoted to that game and I didn't even have mods. Just imagine what my quest log looked like. Rome and Medieval 2 Total War are both pretty valid contenders too.

And then there's Pokemon.

Monster Hunter Tri, I just HAD to finish all the extra missions including a Rathalos and Laigacrus in one go, as well as two diablos at once, man was I carazy, I even bothered to get all the armors and all the weapons of the type I used, with 100 hours in....all enjoyed very much, despite the games very obvious flaws.

According to some rough math, I've sunk at least 7,300 hours into RuneScape. After that, probably Minecraft.

1451 Hours on Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy.

Was a fun time when I was younger. I regret nothing.

EDIT: Oh my. Finally cracked the 100.
