Terraria for the PC currently logs me in at about 400 hours. So, considering I've also played about another 100 hours offline, roughly half a K on that game alone.

After comes Skyrim with almost 250, Borderlands2, Civ5, and Dark Souls at around 150, and a couple other odds and ends. And I don't even know how many hours have been poured into hardcore Minecraft boss runs...

I'm guaranteed to have played 2000 - 4000 hours of CS:S, since I played it nonstop for several years, with no life and only a part time job (didn't have any bills to pay back then).

In combination of the two L4D's about 500 hours, 261 in the first one. Honorable mentions to Skyrim, and Terraria with 170 and 135 hours logged respectively.

If MMOs count, I've spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-3 years straight (something on the neighborhood of 20,000 hours) between all my characters in World of Warcraft, from Vanilla to the end of Wrath of the Lich King and most of Mists of Pandaria. It's easily the longest amount of time I've spent on any single game.

If we're not counting MMOs, I've got something like 300 hours in Mass Effect, if you count all 3 games, or ~200 hours on Dargon Age: Origins

Wow all these posts are really making me not feel so bad about how many hours I sink into games.

Let's fire up the steam library and see here...

Skryim: 223 hours

Borderlands 2: 171 hours

TF2: 469 hours (90% of that being medic play)

Fallout New Vegas: 56 Hours

Many games of my youth maxed out at 99:99

From steam, Borderlands 2 at 470 hours but I may have more hours played on older systems without counters.

Diablo 3 with 400, Then The first Disgaea for 300, then over 200 on final fantasy 10, Then many 100's. That's only clocked times though. I always go back and play some retro games and most of my older games over and over again, on and off since I was 8 and now I'm 32 so that's a lot of hours.

Over 3,000 hours put into Morrowind, and I still haven't completed all the quests. This modern fad of 'completionism' really doesn't make for in-depth gaming.

465 hours on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I've spent a lot of time on the series itself, actually... Add another 75 for Tri, another 50 for Portable 3rd, and another 100 or so for Tri Ultimate. Though Freedom Unite is what stands out most

I've got between 150-200 hours on each Pokemon game I had, which is substantial seeing as I played them between ages 7-16 (which is now)

WoW, of course, what else? Been playing for nearly eight and half years, my /played time is in the region of 11,500 hours.

I read somewhere recently that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master something. I wish I'd spent that time playing the piano, or painting.

Close to 800 hours on TF2... I used to play it quite a lot, before the whole fashion simulator thing got really pervasive. There may be other contenders (SWTOR could be one of them), but I have no exact numbers.

For me steam says skyrim at 214 hours, followed by fallout new vegas at 179, but i spent a lot of time on both oblivion and fallout 3 and didn't get them through steam so not sure how long. Ohh and i had about 150 hours multiplayer modern ware 2.

Dungeons & Dragons Online (guessing at ~250 hrs) -- Looks like I'm the only one left here since Turbine won March Mayhem back in 2009 and everybody was pissed that Turbine linked the contest & site on their DDo login screen. Still, it worked out for me. I love it here.

Almost certainly WoW. I think I was somewhere between 1000-2000 hours played before I quit. I don't know if there's a way for me to check now, so oh well.
Then probably Rift, with around 500 hours.
Then Skyrim, Oblivion, and Pokemon Red (back when I was an itty bitty nerd) with around 300 each.

My Dragon Quest IX save is about 700 hours, although I'll freely admit to being asleep for probably over 500 of them (the Sleeper On The Job accolade was fully justified).

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance has seen two saves in excess of 300 hours (stupid Black Thread). Diablo 3 is about 370. Not sure what Chrono Trigger or FFIX rack up in total playthroughs but they've got to be in the order of 300 or so; Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Smash TV both saw over 200 hours according to my MAME before I rebuilt it all and lost all the clocks. FFX and VII were both around 150 by the time I completed them.

Wolfenstein 3D, Nethack and Transport Tycoon must also be in the several hundreds. Bubble Bobble may be around a hundred over all formats; The Settlers got left overnight several times to train up knights and may be around 200 or so.

Played just under 900 hours with my first character in Oblivion, and I have another 5 or 6 each logging anywhere from 10 to 200 hours. The second'd probably be Team Fortress 2 - I've got 498 hours logged of that. That said, of those only 238 (Steam statistics are awesome, BTW) were spent actually playing the game. I swear, the way my computer manages to make loading screens in that game last longer than gameplay itself is amazing, and my tolerance for it even more so. I'd imagine I've probably left it on overnight a couple times, though.

Note that Oblivion was the first game I ever got really into - I'd played stuff on and off before, but I'd say Oblivion was what turned me into the game-obsessed person I am today - and TF2 I've been playing for a couple hours with a group of friends every Friday night since it went free to play.

I think in the end I spent over 6000 hours playing Guild Wars.

During the early access beta for Guild wars 2 I spent 2 thirds of the weekend on the game, the other 1 third was spent eating and/or sleeping.
