Delicious Gaming Irony

The ending of GTAIV was chock full of irony. Specifically, the person who's advice you follow ending up dead.

*snicker* This just happened. I was on the phone with my little brother...long story short I was doing some in-office babysitting and my nephew had called his mom because I wouldn't give him his PSP back (I was on a roll, damnit!) and she thought it was funny and called my brother who called me, blah blah blah...anyway, I gave the game back and we started talking and he kept teasing me about still playing on a PS2 when suddenly I hear all this cursing down the line, so I ask...what the hell just happened? The answer was "I just got RRODd...uh...can I borrow some of your PS2 games? And your PS2?"

so he was using a 360 and it got red ringed while you were talking on the phone? that would suck...for him

my irony is more painful. when one of my friends said quote"games weren't made for fun"/quote to my face when he was arguing about halo.

on a lighter note. i just finished HL:EP2 recently and there was a part were i was just finishing of a horde zombies when i see one of the zombies whose head crab i blew off had fallen into the crouch of an allied dead zombie. not so ironic but when a friend of mine who was sitting next to me said "he died the way he lived. with crabs on his face" i couldn't help myself i "fell over on the floor while laughing out loud, my hysterical laughing was so great it caused slight convolsions in my body that then propelled me in a uni-directional path along the floor." (also know as ROFLING)

This would be great if it was true: Marcus Fenix is gay, or Master Chief, so funny for Marcus Fenix=god painintheasses on live.

AFAIK, the Master Chief is asexual or something. His sexual urges have been dulled or something similar.

The same is true for Solid Snake. That's pretty ironic, considering his name. It's also ironic that when the real name of a character that uses a code-name is revealed, it's usually something generic (i.e. Snake or Master Chief).

What is ironic about having a normal name? MOST PEOPLE have a normal name, that's what makes them normal! I went around an air museum a while back and saw an F-14 Tomcat. They had the pilot's name still on the side; his name was something really ordinary, and has his codename "Ninja" underneath.

Seriously, how fucking retarded do you have to be to name your son "Titshagger McZombiefucker?" Scratch that, how retarded do you have to be to expect that kind of name for your lead character?
