Poor Newo and Apollo :( My own is a Coheed & Cambria song as well. I find this song dreadfully sad.

That's another depressing Coheed song. It's the music that completely tops it off. Coheed is such a great band, my all time favorite.

EDIT: Also in Junesong Provision if you don't know as much about The Amory Wars you might not get it, but obviously you do by say "Poor Newo and Apollo". Most people will have no idea what that means.
I know about Amory Wars. I always found it weird that verse. I'm thinking if you're writing to your girlfriend the first thing you'd write is about her dog? Really? XD And then casually throw in that you're going to die...? Claudio can be a confusing character at times but after everthing that happens with Coheed, Cambria, Josie and Wilhelm you can't blame him. XD

Mother Superior and the other one I was thinking of was The Final Cut.

Agreed, if depressive music is your thing, try black metal. If you're the non-screechy type, try this song:

Metal is such a clichéd responses to the depressive music. I guess I don't find it that depressing simple because I feel I being sold the idea of depression rather than gaining comfort or empathy from it.

Moby is really good when he is depressing. Extreme Ways, Poreclain Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad? are great songs.

He's on of my favorite fictional characters I wouldn't want to be. The Final Cut is another song where the music makes it depressing. Last time I checked that song clocked in at like 8 minutes and there's very few words, but the lyrics are really strong.

Opeth, literally anything by Opeth. Here's one where the title is actually called Bleak:

Pretty much any song by The Smiths. Such a good band but man can they do songs that can crack the stoniest of hearts.

I don't know about you, but I find this song very depressing:

The fact that it doesn't have any real title almost makes it even more tragic.

I listen to this song no matter what mood I'm in, I could listen to it 2000 times in a day.

The Cure, always good

Most of what I listen to sounds depressing but it's more about overcoming your own problems. But I guess you could count:

Darkness- Disturbed
Come Clarity- In Flames
Feuer und wasser- Rammstein
Say goodnight- Bullet for my valentine
Forever- As I lay Dying
Overburdened- Disturbed
Chop Suey- System of a down
Risandi Von/ Deyjandi Von- Heaven Shall Burn also black tears a cover by them

Many more but all that comes to me. I feel most of this music, while it sounds depressing is more about overcoming your own demons. It sgows there are people like you.
