I thought this was a thread about videogame teams, (In which case I can cover Sniper or Ninja)
Well, in games, it depends. If it is capture the flag, a favourite around my part of the world, I'm the sneak. Whether its defensive, and the enemy thinks they are all alone to find I am above/behind/DIRECTLY IN FRONT/to the side of them. Or offensive, where they have 20 man patrols around theintelligence flag and suddenly... What?! Where did it go!?!

I'm support/survivalist.
I'll be the last one down, or the one who has to draw all the flak so people with specializations can do their work.

Depends what kind of team? For projects and such, I'm usually the guy to plan and figure stuff out. The brain fellow.

From a game perspective, the one who's killing enemies with a more agile or stealthy method and generally not contributing as much to the infrastructure of the team as others, yet perplexing wants to help as much as possible.
In real life, the guy who stands by with his hands in his pockets until he's told what to do, then springs to it.

Using the common example of a zombie apocalypse, I'm most likely the guy who makes the stupid mistake to either cause everything or get my group killed, either way, the guy nobody wants to be.
leader/commander. most times i know how to play and strategize, but i just never get to because im online usually without a headset. and people just don't have respect.

I'm the guy who quietly sits back and does whatever work needs to be done. If I need to step up and lead I'm fine doing that. I work hard not for the good of the group, but for myself. I'd like to think of myself as the keystone of a group, but that's just my ego talking.

I lie in the bushes in BF:BC2 with my XM8 and snipe people, which is surprisingly easy, then I rush, taking down the rest. Easy as pie.
Pretty much anywhere else, I'm support or the guy who takes care of things outside the big siege areas, like mob pushing in LoL (League of Legends) when other heroes have a big fight, I know that it's a rubbish job, but it's nescessary.

I like playing the role which could be vaguely described as "minimizing a risk of group failure". Something like Tank or Healer in MMO's. It's quite fulfilling but you must get used to being shout at all the time.
