It could be a migraine disorder. There are many different varieties of migraines that can lead to auditory and visual hallucinations. Perceptual malformations are also not uncommon. I have a migraine disorder, its a nice benign form that only cause INTENSE PAIN. But beyond that nothing more. Seriously though, go see a doctor, specifically a neurologist... and lay off the acid :p

Actually, seeing other people on this thread saying migraine makes me think ocular migraine. Yes, you heard me, ocular. As in a migraine of your eyes. My mother had them. Apparently, it shares the exact same cause as regular migraines, but it manifests with no pain and with vision problems, such as blurred vision and optical illusions.

I'm no doctor, so if the doctor says "that's not it," don't say "yeah, but, this guy online said his mom-" No. This is just an idea.

I sometimes feel like that when im really sick. Everything seems just seems enlarged to proportion, like everything seems larger but I can't tell because its all set to the same larger proportion. Also I get a bit dizzy and feel disorientated.

Of course this is only when im really sick, so either your sick or you accidentaly injected an extra dose of herroine.
