That story is funny but... ummmm... what?

Please do explain how Yellowcard makes you gay. In fact, why did you even feel the need to point that out? Your friend's sexuality makes absolutely no difference to the point of the story. I certainly wouldn't have read it and thought "OH HIS FRIEND IS OBVIOUSLY GAY" because of a freakin' CD. Deary me.

So, you're saying that you decided to cause discomfort to people that had done nothing to you simply because you don't believe the same things they do?

People like you give the human race a bad name.
In OP's defense, according to his story, they did it first. Waiting around a homosexual's vehicle and trying to purge him of his 'sin'? That's pretty awful.

Not that it justifies his behavior, he certainly didn't take the high road on this one, but calling the OP intolerant for blasting metal at these people is like siding with the pot because you think the kettle really is a little bit blacker.

Regardless of what they did to his friend, they still did nothing to the OP.

Now, if his friend decided to take this route, it'd be justified. Still extremely immature, but justified.

Then you get to the OP (supposedly)taking revenge for his friend on a group of people that more than likely had absolutely nothing to do with what happened to his friend. A few people from that school do something you don't agree with, so you take it out on people that weren't involved?

Hell, I think that in the name of the man that was robbed at the 7/11 around the corner from my house last week, I'll burn down my neighbors house. That will teach that robber! They had nothing to do with it, but the live close by and go to the same store.

Somebody needs to do this again, but play a different artist every time, and see what their reaction is.

I would like to point out that having a dress code has nothing to do with being religious, although I know what you meant.

You know... I don't necessarily have a problem with religion, I personally don't get it, nor do I understand the blind faith and all that, but it shouldn't consume your life like it seems to have with these people. And they flipped over Yellowcard? I think if they saw some of the CD's most normal people have there might be head explodey... and exorcisms.

So dick move? Probably, but hilarious.
Worth it? Oh definitely.
Something worth imitating? Perhaps...

Dick move, yeah it was. However, I'm not going to complain because I begin to have problems with religion when it gets that serious about itself.

It was dickish, but it was the right thing to do...

How else would they be able to listen to some awesome metal they otherwise wouldn't be allowed to hear?

How is it awful? They just knelt and prayed for him. That's not awful.

What's awful is if they beat the living crap out of him, what's awful is that they tie him to the back of his own car and then drag him around the parking lot full throttle while the teachers encourage it... yet they never did that, did they?

What they did was peaceful and all it took was the guy's precious time.

They - the OP and his friend - should have sucked it up and moved on. Or just laughed when his friend told the story.

I couldn't give a rat's ass what they did or what he did. They're both the fools here, but to say what they did is awful is just flat out wrong considering worse things have been done to "cleanse" people of their sin and you're just insulting the victims.

Idk, but I would have done the same thing, note that I don't consider myself "decent" but I like the way you think.

The students were the first ones to be jerks. They went around INSPECTING PEOPLES CARS and then, when they saw the CD, they huddled around the guy's car and started praying for "God to save him" because he was gay. That comes off to me as intolerant. I would have also considered that homophobic harassment.

To be honest, and I don't mean to offend anyone, I feel sorry for the people that are force-fed the Bible since birth. I am NOT religious, but some people just seem so... obsessed or misled. Are they TOLD to be intolerant of the homosexual portion of the human population? Hmm? I don't know anything about this stuff, though, so maybe I'm uninformed.

But, yeah, if I could've participated in this justice, I would've. It's just MUSIC, though. I mean, c'mon. Doesn't anyone else see anything wrong with covering their ears with Bibles?

You were a complete douchebag. They saw your friend was gay and started PRAYING for him? They didn't, you know, beat the ever loving shit out of him or bash up his car or break his CD? They didn't in the very fucking least become total cunts and begin berating him until he drove away?
_Instead of being the typical bastards and assholes who hate homosexuality, they simply prayed for him. Your response to them doing the most peaceful act since staying silent was to go onto their campus and blast music as to terrorize them?

No, mate. That's not funny at all. I have gay friends who WISH people only prayed for them. I know women who were punched square in the fucking face and received even worse for being who they are. A group of people loudly praying for you, as annoying as you might believe it to be, is NOTHING compared to what could've happened.

This isn't a fucking joke. Even if those people weren't as peaceful as they appear to be in your story, you're friend is lucky those people don't know people who'd come after him thanks to your stunt. Think about others, damn it!

First of all... I only dislike religions, because almost all of them try to cram their religions down our throats. Like mormons, or jahocah's witnesses...

However, I equally hate people who fuck with others BECAUSE they are religious, make fun of their religion for no point, or pull shit like what you described. Let them be how they are dude. It's called respect

LASTLY (and the reason I quoted this small piece) is to ask. What the fuck has being gay have to do with Yellow Card?

hilarious. If i was you, i'd get some water soluble make up, like base with the same color as my skin, and waterproof red make up, blush or something. Coat my face with the blush, then the water soluble skin color. go to thier church service and sit on the aisle. a lot of serious churches like that will start off with holy water sprinkls, which you can then use to melt you "face" run hissing from the church maybe even cuz in latin a few times, like a demon. It would be great.

COuld not have said it better myself. And just as I said in my first post... Just because you lisiten to Yellow Card does NOT make you gay
