Did anyone like Miranda ?(Mass Effect 2)

I liked her a lot. I didn't romance her only because I was set on staying with Liara, with Tali as a fallback.
I'm biased, however. I'm a huge fan of the NBC show Chuck. Yvonne Strahovski's (Sarah Walker in the show) voice and likeness were used for Miranda. I'm also a sucker for Aussie accents...and banging bods.

The only characters I didn't like were Zaeed and Grunt. They were just one-dimensional Alpha male kill kill kill guys (especially Zaeed, they didn't even put in a Normandy conversation for him)

Nope, she was a snooty *****. Even after I had finnished her quest and I had seen a glimmer of humanity in her, as soon as we got back on the Normandy she started causing trouble with Jack.

I will give the rundown of who I like and why:
Matt Shepard: Because I rock
Garrus: So badass but still a vigilante, kinda like the punisher
Talizora Vas Normandy(thats right): I find her quite interesting, I wanted to see her face
Legion: Hes Geth, misunderstood but still awsome
Urdnot Grunt: Kicks ass, gonna be key in M E 3 I think
Thane Krios: Rightious assassin, love him
Mordin Solus: Gilbert and Sullivan, at one point, he thought I was in love with him
Samara: Quite interesting, I'd say one of the most, besides Legion

Who I don't like and why:
Miranda Lawson: *****, I don't like how she looks either, not so perfect to me. I hate portruding chins ok.
Jack: I feel sorry for her but she's just a ***** and always dies in fights, even on normal, useless. Also worst character model, without the lipstick I would say she was a guy at first glance
Zaeed: Something about him pisses me off, oh wait, you can't have a conversation with him on the ship!
Jacob Taylor: Meh, boring

She's Yvonne Strahovski, so I'm inclined to worship her "genetic modifications".

Yvonne Strahovski is attractive... Miranda looks like a Pit Bull.

Was she hot? Yes. Did I wanna bone the life out of her? Hell yes. Was she an interesting character? Meh.

-Her daddy issues were pretty dark, especially for a game that wouldn't typically go that far, but it was told far too cryptically. There's a way to imply these things that doesn't involve dancing around the issue and making said victim into a sex goddess, because shit like that is confusing and stupid. But, I guess since Jack had the whole "treat me tender because all I've ever felt was thorns" thing already going on they couldn't have Miranda's character act the same way. But still, Miranda should've been handled differently. What could've been a really dark backstory and emotionally riveting love subplot just came off as "Hey! Hey, Shepard! See my ass? Fuck that ass, baby!" Ugh.

--Well, at least they excelled with the other love interests.

I regret following her romance subplot. It ended up just being about sex, which is hardly a compelling story element. Next time I'm going for the transformation of Jack through that romance: that looked to be a very interesting development of character. But unfortunately, I caught on to that far too late.

She wasn't a very nice person, and i didn't find her very useful either. Garrus and Grunt were an epic combo

I didn't like Miranda at first but she grew on me and by the end she was one of my favorite characters. Actually almost all of the characters in ME2 were great. I say 'almost' because I'm still mad at Bioware for not including the Renegade option to shove Jack out an airlock. Or would that be Paragon? Yes, you're a self-described angry *****, we get it. Being aware of your bitchiness does not make you cool.

Maybe I warmed up to Miranda because she wasn't Jack. That makes everyone awesome. You, yes you - the person reading this right now; you're awesome in every way. You know why? Because you're not Jack.

Jack's Paragon romance is exceptionally redeeming and apparently her romance if primarily paragon shines light upon why she is such an angry *****. I have not romanced her, merely ventures on youtube. From what I have seen thus far I like Miranda and she will likely be my first option with a possibility for Jack.

Meh, after the loyalty mission I tolerated her... then lost it immedietly afterward taking Jack's side in their fight. I agree with the people saying forgettable. Anyway as soon as I found out that the character I wanted my Shepard to be with last game but couldn't, COULD be paired up this game. No contest. Tali was with me about every mission.

I didn't really like here until I did her side quest mission. That gave her a more human side. Hell I was even going to sleep with her over Kelly until I found out that you could entice Tali . After I found out about that I chucked Miranda out the nearest air lock. Kinda pissed off though cause I ruined my relationship with Jack because I wanted to sleep with Miranda originally. :/

Sure Miranda came off as a *****, but her accent is so hot. My Shepherd is a pimp. Why wouldn't he go for Miranda? Better then a bald emo chick, or Tali. I was either gonna go for her or the Secretary chick.

The only character I DISLIKE so far is Samara... and I just got her, so I'm still waiting on further developments before making a judgment. Every character I thought I was going to hate has pleasantly surprised me, probably because my expectations had been so lowered by the "GrimDark with 'Tude" marketing campaign. "Darker and edgier" needs to crawl under a damned rock and die.

Miranda is ok in my book. i use her in pretty much every mission because her abilities are all pretty useful. and yes she is pretty friken hot. for me though its the fact that i can use her in missions and not have her die all the time, gotta love a chick who can hold her own.

and given the other choices she is basically the way to go for romance. jack looks like a dude and i personally cannot talk to her for five seconds without pulling the right trigger hoping for a renegade action that lets me shoot her in the face. haven't recruited Tali yet so i guess we'll see.

Like I said in a related but different forum I liekd all of my team (especially Mordin) and I tryed my best to keep all of them alive and use them as much as possible. But personallity wise Tali was the only appealing one to me the other females at lease were to "same-e" to me (maybe not Kelly as well but I didn't know she was even a romance option until about 3 minutes ago).
