I just finished the game and will gladly jump in this conga-line, I really liked this game.

Disregarding the ending for a moment, I loved how poignant and lasting your decisions are throughout the game. Your Shepard can be primarily responsible for the genophage cure dispersal and for the eradication of/peace between the Quarians and/or Geth. After all the discussions and build-up from the previous games, I thought these to be well executed and satisfying in their conclusion.

I don't know if it just hasn't really sunk in yet but I just have no idea what to make of the ending right now. Sure, a happy ending would be ideal but I knew that a war of this magnitude could not end pretty and that there would be some significant, lasting consequences. It's just surprising and disappointing that the effective military strength amassed ultimately only really affects three things in the ending(s):

The availability of the third option, the condition of Earth after the Citadel blast and Shepard's 'survival' after choosing to destroy all synthetics. Unless I am wrong...?

It was amazing. It is a love hate relationship. If it truly was that he is indoctrinated then, yes. However it needs some, DLC/Patches or something.

Oh I loved it, I loved how they handled the gathering of the fleet's, making peace between species. And, despite many people *coughcoughZeelcoughcough* are raging about the romances, I loved what they did with them. Course I've always been a sucker for cheese romance in games. Tali's was amazing in my opinion, though the whole "Keelah Se'lai" thing did get old.

And even the ending's I didn't mind, I didn't hate them perse, I just felt like it was just.....over. It just didn't feel right.

I pointed out Zeel on the romance thing not because he's the only one doing, but because he's the only one who made a entire THREAD complaining about the damn romance thing.

It was Biowares Finest work, but in the End Bioware did what Bioware does best, it fucked itself over in the last minute.

As it stands, the Mass Effect Series has to be at the top of my favorite gaming experiences of all time. Mass Effect 3 is, in itself, pure excellence that is magnified a hundred fold when the previous entries are taken into account. I like the game so much that I'm only *neutral* toward the ending!

It does have issues, I'll admit, and my biggest complaint (aside from ME3's Character Face Import Issues) is that sometimes the "different" dialogue options are not as *different* as they could be.
