Did anyone think that F.E.A.R. was scary?

F.E.A.R scared the hell out of me, because of tiny girl Alma.
F.E.A.R 2 not so much, like what many people said, the horror was too straight forward.
F.E.A.R had you checking the corners every time you saw "Unknown Origin" appear on the HUD.
F.E.A.R 2 had you pimp slapping Alma. With "Quicktime Events".

This. F.E.A.R 1 was scary but not too scary.
F.E.A.R 2 wasn't scary at all and people who think these games are frightening need to go play condemned: criminal origins.

Ontopic, nope its really difficult to scare me. I found some parts pretty cool and could have given me a good startle but at the time i was not paying attention.

I've only played FEAR and I found it not scary and I was 11 when I played it. (Also first horror game played) but there you go some people arn't scared of things some are eg: I was scared when playing Prey untill I found out i was invicible

I played it at midnight with a headset on, in a room with no light besides the light from my screen. Yes, it's damn scary. If you're willing to get sucked into the game, it's a real scarefest.
