Technically, COD4 got VERY creative, since it's completely different from the rest.

Captain Price was just too awesome to leave in WWII. However IW knew that the original Price couldn't be in MW, so they made what is essentially the same character and made him a relative to the original.
He's a fan favourite, so they brought him back.

Now I want to know if he's alive.
