This is damn good advice. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. She may be the one, you never know.Assassinator said:No, but I'd like to. In my book, "just for the hell of it" means "just for shits &giggles" or "just for fun". And imo those kind of of dates are always the best one's. Why? It's simple: no pretentions (at least not from your side), no pre-set goal you want to work to. It makes things more relaxed, chilled out, since you focus on fun.
Btw, the girl you're talking about, Mr OP, is pretty damn direct and honest. That shows guts, metaphorical balls (unless she has a pretty good rack, those also count as balls tbh), wich is pretty awesome and admirable. If you ask me: go for it, if you're not interested that much but you don't mind, just go for fun, maybe something nice will grow out of it, maybe a spark will fling over, maybe not, and then you just had a good time with someone. Nothing to loose right?
Haha, o well everyone has his/her quirks ;-) Maybe she turns out to be nothing, maybe she turns out as someone you can just have fun with, or maybe it will turn out to be more.VoltySquirrel said:Well, she did the usual routine, gave me the note, walked away, and got her friends to encourage me to say yes. She is nice, but one thing is that she talks about her relationships to other people a bit too much. All last year the only thing she talked about was who she was dating, and she shows almost no interest in my favorite hobby, video games. A couple days ago I'm playing a friend's DS, hopping around as Mario, and she asked, "What are you doing?" "I'm playing New Super Mario Bros." "Cool. So, how good are you at Halo?" "I don't play that game much." "You don't? Everyone I know says its their favorite game." "First time everything I guess." But you can't have everything, right?
Thanks, and yes indeed, maybe she'll become a good friend, that's nice too.ccdistancerunner said:This is damn good advice. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. She may be the one, you never know.
