Did you ever go out with a girl just for the hell of it?

I'm interested in a different girl or 3,
That's what I'm talking about!

Yeah I've done it, we actually had so much in common that no feelings of romance ever occurred. If I remember correctly we started talking about kingdom hearts...

I haven't gone out with a girl yet, trying to work up the courage to ask this one girl who I suspects like me soon though.

Yeah, only every gf I ever had. Except one but she doesn't count. It used to be like a sport for me.

Today, I was walking around the school grounds, and this girl, who I never really showed interest in, and gives me a slip of paper and walks off. Recently, she had been giving me hugs out of nowhere, so I knew something fishy was up. Anyway, I open up the note and, no surprise, it said, "So, I'm gonna get right to the point. I like you. Do you like me?" Also in the note was her number. I'm not particularly interested in her, but she's kinda cute and really nice. Sure, I'm interested in a different girl or 3, but I probably have no chance anyways. So I ask you fellow Escapees, did you ever date a girl for the hell of it, and how did it end up?
Yeah, I did it. She became a crazy stalker who followed me whenever we had a free moment in school, and told me she loved me after we "Dated" for only a week and a half. I would be careful, but you can never go wrong with dating a girl, unless the aforementioned happens...
That happened to me too. So i finally told her that I was dating my BFF Jill (anyone who get's the reference, good for you) and that Jill was in the hospital with pancreatic cancer. She never spoke to me again.

As good advice, from one nerd to another, you don't NEED a girl to like you all that much to date them. Tell girls you like them (as in they are nice to look at and talk to, not making a shrine out of them in your attic), and say "lets go out." A lot easier than it looks.

No. I'm a lonely loser :(

The girl I have a crush on was sitting a few chairs away from me not too long ago in the computer lab, which made me feel worse.

Went out with all kinds though highschool.

I had a few do the note thing, I did try dating one of them, the rest I had no interest in beyond as a friend. Most have had asked their friends to talk to me.

Even if you don't go out on a date with her hang out with her a bit, when you start hanging around some females sometimes the ones your more interested in become more interested etc.

Good luck bro. ^^

Anyways, yea, I have. It didn't end horribly, I just had no connection to her and didn't speak a single word to her over the Christmas break. Ehh, I felt her up and got some make outs, so, it was good.

Why don't you just hangout and go on some casual dates before you jump into a relationship, it seems like people jump into relationships way to fast. Has going on a casual date been completely wiped from highschool now? Personally would never officially date any girl without going out a few times.

Yup. I made out with her on a party once. I was really drunk and I couldn't remember what she looked like, so when she asked me over to watch a movie a couple of days later I thought "Yeah, why not?"

I was awfully disappointed, though... And she stalked me for half a year -_-

I must be really charming while drunk

No, but I'd like to. In my book, "just for the hell of it" means "just for shits &giggles" or "just for fun". And imo those kind of of dates are always the best one's. Why? It's simple: no pretentions (at least not from your side), no pre-set goal you want to work to. It makes things more relaxed, chilled out, since you focus on fun.

Btw, the girl you're talking about, Mr OP, is pretty damn direct and honest. That shows guts, metaphorical balls (unless she has a pretty good rack, those also count as balls tbh), wich is pretty awesome and admirable. If you ask me: go for it, if you're not interested that much but you don't mind, just go for fun, maybe something nice will grow out of it, maybe a spark will fling over, maybe not, and then you just had a good time with someone. Nothing to loose right?

God, I wish girls would do that with me, I hate making the first move simply because it never works out. Trouble is, girls in general like the guy to make the first move... and to answer your question, in case it wasn't obvious at this point, no I haven't.

Oh I figured it out once I hit the words "first move".

A girl asked me if I wanted to just have sex, no strings attached.

I went for it. Makes me sound sleazy since we're not going out or anything, we just sometimes get it on.

Well, she did the usual routine, gave me the note, walked away, and got her friends to encourage me to say yes. She is nice, but one thing is that she talks about her relationships to other people a bit too much. All last year the only thing she talked about was who she was dating, and she shows almost no interest in my favorite hobby, video games. A couple days ago I'm playing a friend's DS, hopping around as Mario, and she asked, "What are you doing?" "I'm playing New Super Mario Bros." "Cool. So, how good are you at Halo?" "I don't play that game much." "You don't? Everyone I know says its their favorite game." "First time everything I guess." But you can't have everything, right?
