I dunno, don't really trust internet people with your romantic decisions, but it sounds like she really likes you, theres nothing wrong with seeing where it goes, but if you know you're gonna end up crushing her in the end, don't do it dude, get on with your life, let her get on with hers, its better her be sad now and get over it, than have you lead her on for a while and destroy her hopes. That'd just be dick, not that I'm saying you would, I'm just saying, if that's your feeling, don't do it.

There is the outside chance your asexual or not interested at all in pursuing a relationship of any kind. This is fairly unlikely or you wouldnt be telling us any of this.

It would be the latter. Obviously I wouldn't be contemplating dating her if I were gay or asexual, and she is definatly not a fugly *****.

I did it. I never have been the relationship type (fool around with a girl, enjoy that aslong as it lasts, if I can fool around with multiple girls at a time whatever)

I was in a minor dry spat, no action for a while so I hook up with a girl who normally I wouldn't (trivial reasoning why not)
Later on, we're hanging out etc. she knows it was just fooling around, but she wasn't good at the whole FWB thing, the closest she could do to 'flirting' was *Glomp hug no let go nuzzle* (seriously that was her flirting...) anyway I go to another city for a week to have sex with another girl, come back and ask the first girl if she wanted to hook up again. A while after that... I decided "screw it, I'll try this whole 'relationship' thing" so I asked her out, she said yes instantly and now we've been together for about a year and I've grown really attached to her.
(She went from "random person in the background of our social group who i didn't care about" to the person I love.) Our relationship is going good at the moment, the whole 'monogamy' thing is wierd for me even still... but she's bi so I'm happy!
But regardless of all that... Give it a try, see what you think of her, and even then it will take the serious mindset "I want to make this work" or things won't go well. Relax through it, find out more about her teach her more about you, get a good even balance going with things. Work through any hassles and try to avoid the "screw this it's too much effort" thought, because in the end it really is worth it.

My fiance was my first girlfriend and that kind of just happened, but I know other people who went out with someone for the hell of it, two are married and the others are engaged to girls they did that with, so it's probably better if you do.

Do you like me?" Also in the note was her number. I'm not particularly interested in her, but she's kinda cute and really nice. Sure, I'm interested in a different girl or 3, but I probably have no chance anyways. So I ask you fellow Escapees, did you ever date a girl for the hell of it, and how did it end up?

Well, its not like shes proposing to you. You could always just go out with her sometime and see how it turns out. Maybe youll get to know her better and want to do it again? It'd be a shame to pass up, right?

Don't do it, don't do it, DON'T DO IT if you don't really care. I did that for my only girlfriend ever, and it was awful. She came on to me, and I was amazed that a girl was actually paying attention at all to me, so I went with it. Worst 6 months of my life EVER. Save yourself the time and effort and money and just don't do it.
