Just ended a relationship like that actually. It was fun for a bit, but then it needed to end. If she's cute and you're single why not? doesn't seem like it could hurt too much.

Since I'm straight.. No I've never gone out with a girl for the hell of it. But, I have gone out with a guy for the hell of it. It ended really bad, he said he loved me, I said thank you. Never spoken to him since.

Anywho, I say go out with her. If it gets too serious for you then just break it off.

Don't do it, don't do it, DON'T DO IT if you don't really care. I did that for my only girlfriend ever, and it was awful. She came on to me, and I was amazed that a girl was actually paying attention at all to me, so I went with it. Worst 6 months of my life EVER. Save yourself the time and effort and money and just don't do it.
