LOL it's Yao-Guai. I think the Yaoi-Guai is a man-on-man hentai-oriented variation. They're rarely seen because they don't attack the player. They stay in their burrows writing Oblivion slashfic.

OT: the brutal finishers in the Wolverine Origins game were pretty impressive. Like Logan running his claws into a guy's torso, then stepping on his foot and ripping him in half. I think my overall favorite though has to be headshot kills in V.A.T.S. where you get to watch a Super Mutant's skull disintegrate in slow-mo.

Deadspace by the head necromorph. It cuts your head off, inserts its tentacles into your headless body and walks off with your body. It's the creepiest player death I've ever seen....ANd it is AWESOME.

..... Holy shit. I gotta get that played, just to see that. I know it's an awesome game, but I just never got around to it.

I may technically be a sadist from how much I enjoyed those 2.

Yeah, the strength boosting power was hilarious when you could clap your hands together and explode everyone around you with the shockwave, ha ha.

As for Fallout 1 and 2, I was always partial to the Plasma Rifle death animation, where all their skin and muscle sort of dissolve/slump off into a gooey pile and then their skeleton collapses in a heap, because I could say "I'm meeeellting!" when they did it. I have a twisted sense of humor.

That one was sick... but cool too. You had to chomp your way trough a human, that was ...never done before ? awesome ,anyways.

And also, have to agree with several people saying things about dawn of war...they really knew how to make a cool death. The most epic ones were the battles between the Eldar Avatar and The Daemon Prince. If the daemon prince loses, they go into one hell of a awesome battle, rolling and jumping and all....epic.


Also also, when a treadnaught caught a normal foot solder and did very ,very nasty things to him, it was 100% awesome.

not strictly a death, oblivion: shivering isles, in the adventurer trap place. You get these adventurers in a room with a massive pile of gold behind a caged door, with a key on the floor, just as they near the key you drop hundres of similar looking keys on top of it, one of them starts screaming hysterically and seraching thro every last 1. Even thought there all fake =P
same bit, a few rooms later, a guy walks into a room full of corpses, and you make them all reanimate and kill him. Its wrthwhile just for the surprise on the guys face.
Assassins creed, when you steal one of the elite guards axes and swing it upwards into an enemies crotch so hard you cant remove the axe, more funny than nything.

I'm not sure on the name of the weapon but it's from Turok evolution. It was the second form of the rocket launcher, which when fired injected a stream of purple light into the enemy. A sonic screeching sound could be heard, as the enemy?s limbs and eventually their head was torn away by an unseen force.
