-the up close kills from "The Darkness" were kinda cool
-the chainsawing on Gears of War(and to a lesser extent, headshots)
-Fallout 3 possibilities are ENDLESS and FUN¡¡
-in Left 4 Dead 2, when you have a chainsaw they just "blow up" the moment you touch them withit
-I recently got Bayonetta and the torture attacks are amazing
-ninja gaiden super attacks on any poor bastard

In your opinion, what is the coolest way you have ever seen anyone/anything die, in a game?

Leon chainsawed to death in Resident Evil 4 is definitely my favourite. In a freakish kind of way it just looks way too cool.

once in l4d i was holding my own against a hunter by only punching at it for fun (it was almost dead). Then a smoker dragged me off a boomer vomited on me the hunter jumped on me and a horde of zombies killed me. it looked really cool.

My rogue character killing an Ogre in DA:O. It was a really sweet animation. Killing someone with a grenade in CS:S is pretty cool too, especially if you got ragdolls enabled (I haven't had for ages) and you manage to send one flying in a spectacular wey,

In Fallout 3, my brother was in a fight with a robot out in the wasteland, and he ran right by a bus he didn't see was a bout to explode. Suddenly, the screen went white, then all we saw was his limbless torso and head hurtling through the air at hilarious heights. We cracked the hell up.


EDIT: He had literally no limbs. Both arms and legs were gone.
