Difficult "Kiddie" Games

i remember Super Mario Sunshine had some they annoying platforming levels but when i go back to most game's i played when i was young i find them much easer than i did

The sandbird level was the one that made me put the game away for about a year

LittleBigPlanet. There's one level in The Wilderness with a giant electrified spinning wheel that I (and everyone else I know with the game) found unbearably hard.

New Super Mario Bros Wii is kicking my ass currently.

Good old fashioned platforming hell! Each jump is laced with an explecetive in case you took the wrong angle and want to curse the game before it kills you.

I remember Sonic 2 being the first game where I had to buckle down and become a man. That game raped me so many times in Metropolis Zone, my gaming addiction started from my desire to defeat Sonic 2.

I do know what you mean, there have been a good few times I have had my ass handed to me by a "kiddies" game that I thought I would walk through with no problem.

VP was good but not really hard. Sure it got frustrating at times like trying to get the damn Fizzlybear to eat the damn honey before the sun goes down but it wasn't up to the player to decide whether or not he ate it. All the player can do is put down the stuff needed (which isn't hard because the game tells you exactly what you need) and pray to whatever god you believe in.

Oh and that Clone Wars game is also hard. They designed some sort of auto jump thing that makes it so you fall to your death if you so much as think about trying to control the jump.

There was this Darkwing Duck game for Gameboy that I got a long time ago. I only figured out how to beat the third level a few weeks ago.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Does that count? It's PG but every time my 4 heroes are killed in a boss battle or at least 2. How can a team of Deadpool (healing factor), Wolverine (healing factor), Songbird and Thor (a fucking God) fail!

I have to say pokemon blue rescue team. There are a few dungeons on that game were you start the beging at level 1 with all of your items taken away, and they expect you to go though 100 floors of it with pokemon getting stronger every couple of floors.

OT: A bugs life for the N64 and any lego game.

Holy crap I remember that game. It was hard. For me though the hardest game had to be Glover for the N64. It took me almost a month to get past the first world.
