I was looking through an old cabinet of mine and I came across a Bevy of old games that I haven't played in.. some 5 Years. Anyway, does anybody else like to search for hours on end at times, just to find a game that you haven't played in quite a long time and experience that feeling of nostalgia? And if so, name it.
(Just in case you're wondering, it was Metal Gear Solid from the PlayStation 1)

Every once in a blue moon, I will pull out my SNES and play Turtles in Time and Legend of the Mystical Ninja.

EDIT: If I feel like playing for a long time, I'll throw in Super Metroid.

Goldeneye for the N64. the fun i had with that game. *sigh* listening to metal and gunning people down in the silo level, or driving around in the tank on the runway level.

Sadly i cant play it anymore, me and a friend took some pills and decided to smash the shit out of it with bats, we took it outside, smoked a few joints then forgot about it and went back inside. i found it 2 days later after it had been sitting outside in the pouring rain

Occasionally I break out the genesis for a bit of streets of rage 2 or thunderforce 4. Problems come when I go near Shining force or the sequel, or phantasy star 4. then Im playing for weeks

I've been trying to get the old NES to work so I can bust out the Willow [http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/willow/willow.htm] game. I don't know if the system itself has gone bad or if it just doesn't want to play nice with the LCD TV, but the bastard doesn't want to work. :-/

I keep The DIG right beside my computer screen at all times. I...LOVE this game. I've always loved point-click games but dayum that one was the zenith for me.

Oh there's also this:

Yes bitches. Only the NES and Master System are ones I bought later in life, the NES is my 2nd one, I still kept the first one as it is broken but still the first console I ever played.

Star Control 2 on the 3DO. Ended up finding a freeware version with the original source code online called Ur-Quan Masters . . . . good times.

System Shock. Not as scary as System Shock 2, but it's still pretty intense and scares the beejeezis out of me.

Every year (ish) I replay Monkley Island 1, 2 or 3 and occasionally some old fallout or the original Prince of Persia.

The original games I have on my NES/ SNES, and some of the old games for my PS and Xbox... Speaking of, just recently bought the original Mercenaries. Not the oldest game to reminisce about, but fun to replay.

Why don't you just buy a new one? They're not much more than £10 (or however much that is in dollars).

My favourite game which stirs in me that feeling of nostalgia is definitely Red Alert 2.
So much fun.

bitzi61, I can definitely agree with you there. I had to download a DEF (Dark Engine Fix) just to get System Shock 2 to run on Vista. Whoo, it was a wild night indeed.

I pulled out Clive Barker's Undying not too long ago, played right through it again. Oh, and Max Payne, the first one that is, I replayed that a bit recently too.
"Eaaaghh, police brutality!"
"I rate pretty high on that."
