Faster than Jay could realise, he was transported from the comfort of his chair and the familiar glow of his computer monitor to about 3 meters above the ground. Suddenly falling, Jay became alert and his mind was set ablaze with thoughts, memories. He had no idea what was going on and began to think he was going to die for a split second, and a split second later, a fragment of his life flashed in his mind before Jay fell to the strangely springy ground below. The impact hurt slightly, miles less than he thought.
Dazed, and in a bit of pain, Jay got up and looked around the area. It was like a kid's playground turned huge, as if Jay had been shrunk down while in a nursery.
"What... what in the world... is this?" Jay said in fear and awe.
"I don't think you're on about the right world anymore." A voice said behind him.
Jay bolted around to see a white bunny type thing, but it had short stubby legs beneath it's porky, inflated body, it's ears were incredibly thin, rosy cheeks and its entire face was adorable and the picture of happiness. Jay took one look at it and forgot someone said anything and presumed it was a plush doll to go with the rest of the giant nursey.
"Oh my..." He said under his breath and reached out to it, "It's so cute."
"Hey," the plush toy yelped leaping backwards, "no touching, we only just met you idiot."
"AHHHHHHHH!" Jay screamed quickly, scrambling away, "Y-you're no toy!"
"Do I look like a toy to you, moron?"
"Well, you looked really cute before you started talking to me!"
"Cute?!" The chubby rabbit looked livid. "Do I look so cute when I do this?" Tokomon then opened his mouth and displayed such a ravenous, menacing and terrifying set of teeth that Jay could only respond in a manner similar to before;
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! AAAAAAH AAAAAAAAH AAAAAAAAAAAH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"Shut up you big baby!" Tokomon shouted in his squeaky, adorable voice, "You'll deafen me before I even know who you are."
"Who am I?" Jay said in panic, "Who are you? What is this? What's going on?"
The bunny sighed, "In order, I'm Tokomon, a Digimon, this is the Digital World and you and I are gonna be partners."
"T...tokomon?"
"That's me."
"A...Digimon?"
"Me again."
"Digital... world?"
"Where we are."
"And we're...partners?"
"Do you have a personality or do you just like copying what other people say slowly?"
Jay recoiled slightly at the hostility coming from the adorable, talking, plump, white bunny rabbit. "S-sorry."
"Whatever," Tokomon declared, "Just tell me who you are now, now I've satisfied your mad curiosities."
Jay looked up at Tokomon before turning his gaze to the floor beneath him. Not one sliver of what was happening made even a minute bit of sense, regardless of what angle Jay's mind approached it from. Digital World? How did he get here? Did he cross worlds from the one he knew? How is that possible? The last thing he remembered was sitting at his computer. If this was a "Digital World", then does that mean that he was inside his computer, or something along those lines? This only added more questions to the growing swamp of statements that lacked an answer.
"Hey!" Tokomon barked, "Your name! Tell me your name!"
Jay shot his head up to Tokomon, "I'm Jay, Jay Asher."
"Jay Jay Asher? You humans really are weird."

Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, thought a rushing Calumon, running around, looking panicked and clutching his head. He had one job, to gather all the humans and tell them what they ought to do, and he wasn't doing a good job at that! They all went to different places around the place, and going around picked them up one by one was gonna take more time than Calumon had! He needed to get back to working the place soon! Eggs don't run themselves, y'know! Why'd I have to get picked for this?
He knew why, and he hated that reason sometimes. Sometimes.
"I got it!" Calumon said, and ran up to the little toy box Calumon kept to entertain the freshly hatched Digimon and began rummaging. He pulled out a shiny tin whistle and, after the deepest of deep inhales, blew with all the air his little body had in it.
[HEADING=3]*PWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*[/HEADING]
Calumon fell down breathless. "That... oughta... get their... attention, haha," he giggled slightly before realising they might not know completely where that came from. Calumon gritted his teeth and moaned. "Aw nuts, I don't like having to do this so much, it's so hard..."
He got up, still slightly short on his breath, placed his hands on his head, and concentrated hard. After a short while, a great red beam shout out from a symbol on his forehead, straight into the sky.
Please see it! He thought, This is really tricky to keep on!

"So just Jay then?"
"Yes."
"So why'd you say it twice?"
"Uhhh, it's sort of a formality where humans come from."
"Wow, humans are weird," Tokomon repeated, "I mean, you say you're names twice for no reason and you sit scrambled on the floor without moving when talking to people."
Jay looked at himself and realised he was sprawled out on the floor, supporting himself with his arms, in a panicked posture, and had been since Tokomon first spoke. Banishing that stance, he stood up and brushed himself down.
"I imagined you taller." Tokomon mentioned.
"I, uh, hear that a lot." Jay said, feeling slightly hurt at another stab at his small size and stature to add to the many he got every day. Some things don't change, even when travelling across worlds. "So ummm... partners?"
"Yeah, partners, we gotta go find Calumon?"
"Calumon?"
"Again with the repeating?"
"Sorry, I'm just confused."
"Well, Calumon will help you with that, because I'm pretty sure he knows more than I do." Tokomon then began hopping around the area. "Now if I was Calumon where would I..."
[HEADING=3]*PWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*[/HEADING]
"...Right there!"
The ear piercing tone echoed across the entire area. There wouldn't be a soul alive that wouldn't be able to hear that, and Tokomon had sense. It was Calumon, it had to be. The only other Digimon here were baby, so it was a sound bet this was Calumon, as any Digimon here could guess. It was made even more obvious by, seconds later, a beam shooting up into the sky, clearly pinpointing where Calumon was right now.
"C'mon, we gotta get to him."
And so Jay followed the white bunny towards "Calumon", not knowing what was in store for him. For all he knew, he was in a dream. A part of him wished it was. The other part wished it wasn't. A cocktail of both fear and excitement filled his body as he ran along after the rabbit that was leading him, and it intoxicated him the energy to move forward despite a deep urge to curl up and cry.
Well, I'm doing better today than most days then.
