Retreats, made pretty. Now if the last couple could get their adjustments in we can move on to another turn before Zemalac disappears for a week (!). Stupid Americans and they're stupidly vast, interesting country. If Oz were as fertile as yours we'd be just as interesting and world-powerish! But all we got was this stupid desert. *grumble*

Sorry guys. The problem I had was I'd just made the decision to be more hardline on move orders, but when one of us (I won't say who) went on extended leave during adjustments I was unsure what to do. Where moves can do without any input at all, adjustments require them. Just as I'd stumbled on a solution, after many days of pondering, the player in question returned with his adjustments.
Let this be a warning to you all: if you do not respond to my call for adjustments with either haste or advance warning of absence (before I make the call) I will roll the dice to decide what you build/disband. I'm a roleplayer; I have the right dice for any occasion.
I'm sick and tired of unexplained absences and delays. Whether you had a good reason or not, whether you're really a good guy or a flaming jerk, I will apply the rules and deadlines from now on.

The deadline is Friday 10 AM. Anyone marginally later than that may receive mercy; anyone much later than that won't. As with homework, so with orders: if you couldn't get it in on Friday you should have got it in on Thursday, or told me so earlier.

I remember saying stuff like that last game...

Anyway, I'm back. Orders will be in by Friday, have no fear.

12:20 PM here on a Friday and I only have orders from dekkarax. I should be back on the PC in a few hours and I'll ship at that time with or without your orders.

Oddly enough, I'm in a better situation right now.

For those of us in EST, the deadline is Tuesday at 10PM.

Soooo... It's Saturday for me, and I'm pretty sure that EST is behind Sas's TZ.

Oh shit! I completely lost track of time.

Just started school again and have been falling behind on everything. About to send my retreats.

I was...indisposed. I feel mildly hypcritical, but as the man in power it's impossible that I could do anything wrong.

Adjustments are as follows:
Austria-Hungary: +1
Russia: +1

These are due by Wednesday 10 AM, but earlier would be much appreciated.

It's late, so I'll get around to giving you the order list tomorrow. For now, here are the pretty pictures.

It seems people are having problems with the deadlines. This is understandable; we all have lives. As a result, I'm extending all deadlines to week-long affairs. Perhaps this will slow the game down, but it really makes me sad to see move orders unplaced when there was so much potential.

Monday 10 AM, next week.

Edit: Hey hey! My 2600th post!

I think longer deadlines are going to make things worse, it'll just give me more time to put it off until the next day and forget.

I second this. I always turn my orders in the day before they are due, when I see Saskwatch's warning to turn it in.

Rightio then. After this deadline we'll return to our normal programming. I'll just be more prolific with my warning posts.

Incidentally, Friday 11:40 PM here. That means you have two and a half days.

This turn was hectic in the west, with units zinging all across the board. Look at Kiel. Look at it. It's the most elaborate set of military maneuvers I've ever seen.
In other news, France and Germany seemed to have banded together for one Last Samurai style charge on England, middle fingers waving. Italy and Austria are sparring, and a dark shadow is falling from Russia. What will happen next?

If you could get that retreat/disband in quick smart Dastardos we can move onto adjustments.

This is what happens when there are three sides fighting over the same piece of land.
My God. What have we done?

EDIT: Also, you posted the same picture twice.
