I'll politely disagree. I'm Australian and therefore have a different set of ratings to you people in the U.S.Baby Tea said:basically everything is a rating lower then what it should be, these days.
Truth there brother.Apocalypse Tank said:The simplest and only solution:

Aladdin, Alice In Wonderland and The Lion King beg to differ.Pyronox said:Disney are douchebags.
That is all.
Don't blame the MPAA, blame the stupid parents on CARA (Classification and Rating Administration) board members... who are parents. http://www.mpaa.org/FilmRatings.aspFrank_Sinatra_ said:MPAA. Blame them.
Our family (being fans of Tolkien) watched Fellowship together. About an hour in, my mom and sister both became grossed out and left.fix-the-spade said:Well it is your fault and it isn't.
The PG rating has been steadily slipping in it's standards. The Fellowship of the Ring is PG and I hope you would never take a 6 year old to see that. It seems as long as you don't show major organs or sex scenes you can get away with just about anything violence wise and still avoid a 12+ rating.
With little kids you should always watch the film first. Even U rated films seem to have nightmare inducers in them now.
I got how old i was when i went to see MAx Payne. Sure im only 16 but im constants told im 17. And i was wearing my motorbiking jacket...Deschamps said:I sometimes find that my local theater posts ratings below what they actually are. I'd say it's to make more money by letting more people see it, but I've been asked repeatedly how old I am when I'm going to see a PG movie. I'm sixteen. Sure, I'm small, and I could probably pass for 13, but the movie was PG!
Yeah while I was at work I thought "Oh shit, i put the wrong group down."Puppeteer Putin said:Don't blame the MPAA, blame the stupid parents on CARA (Classification and Rating Administration) board members... who are parents. http://www.mpaa.org/FilmRatings.aspFrank_Sinatra_ said:MPAA. Blame them.
I would say, blame branding and marketing types. Disney is portrayed as a family friendly company with most of it's products being innocent and pure and all that bollocks.
I just went through their Annual Report to try find a mission statement.. they don't have one :S http://corporate.disney.go.com/investors/annual_reports.html
Just for the record, I am not in fact, a turtle. not that there's anything wrong with that...(obscure seinfeld reference here folks)Bright_Raven said:are you actually using "dude, seriously" in a non ironic sence? do people actually talk like that? are you a mutated turtle? the only verson of the story i know is the classic Brittish tv series, and even in that they dont have racist accents. yes, the accents are racist in the last movie, and even seing the trailer i could tell it would be horrendusly violent. but because it was directed at kids fro some reason the OFLC lowered the rating, just like harry potter 3.Jumpman said:Bright_Raven said:PG ie PGm 13+. and disney is EVIL! didn't you already know that?
why does caspian have a racist "latino" (?) accent? yeah, we know he is a freedom fighter but does he have to speak like that? and arn't all the people ment to be decended from the first four from "lion witch and the wardrobe"?... wow, i just relised that, they were all related...
the original series was better, the brittish TV version.
Wow. You are either completely unfamiliar with the series or missing several parts of your brain. The accent isnt latino and it is used to help show that caspian and the rest of the telmaurines are not originally from narnia (both the movie and book explains this at the end)
the whole related thing is crap too, in the books it clearly states that while there hadnt been any humans in narnia for hundreds of years before the LWW, there are multiple surrounding coutries with humans, like Archenland and Calormen, where people migrated from after the fall of the white witch.
Dude seriously, Im not asking you to research everything you say in a post, but if your accusing people of racism and incest, you might wanna back up what your saying.
