In Burnout Paradise, the legendary cars update was pretty sweet. I don't have Live anymore, though, and I'm waiting until I get it back to see if the Rock Band DLC is any good. (I love Rock Band, by the way, ESPECIALLY Green Day Rock Band...)

I'll be flamed for this, but, the Halo 3 map packs (before ODST was revealed to have packed every map along with the multiplayer system as whole on it's bonus disk)

I still haven't regretted purchasing these maps.

And.....Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell DLC. It's pretty much all free, and it really adds to the multiplayer.

Also, The Pitt and Operation Anchorage for Fallout 3. (didn't get the other ones, wanted to though)

Both added to the game I felt, (the latter more then the former IMO)

The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned for Borderlands. I've been meaning to pick on General Knoxx, as I hear it is even better, but I haven't gotten around to it.

Fallout 3 DLC as well as a lot of the LBP DLC that I've bought.

Charlene (I'm Right Behind You) and Still Alive for Rock Band 2. They may be easy, but their so fun to play.

Fallout had excellent DLC, though I'm not sure the asking price was low enough with respect to the amount of content gained. For nearly the price of the game itself I got an additional 20 hours or so of content, and to be honest only Point Lookout and Broken Steel seemed like they were worthy of my ten bucks.

Of course, I'm a sucker and paid for operation anchorage twice given that I purchased the GOTY edition for PC after purchasing the DLC for my 360.

Overlord for ME2 is the best I've gotten so far.
Was pretty good, aye; Hell, my own mother was following the story and quite loudly opened against my comment that it would've been fairer to just shoot the bugger.

It took me ages to save a spare Tenner, but when I did I bought all the DLC for Oblivion (Minus Knights of the Nine or Shivering Isles that I already had with the Game of the Year Edition) and it's wonderful!

The Overlord and Kasumi DLC for Mass Effect 2 were both great. Before it's release I wasn't really looking forward to overlord, but I am VERY glad I decided to get it. Makes me look forward to more ME2 DLC.

...way of the samurai 3 DLC was free and slightly funny.

The force unleashed Sith ending made things fucking awesome, of course the temple segments were stupid.

Most, of dragon age Dlc was great.

except darkspawn chronicles...that was horrible.

Well pretty much Team Fortress 2.

Class updates, new maps, new game modes, all for the low, low price of $0.

So yeah, that.
Although it's not by definition, DLC typically means it's an optional supplement to a game, by all current uses of the term. TF2 doesn't really count.

Well with the way most publishers are pushing DLC these days, they seem less and less optional as time goes on...

The Overlord DLC was amazing, it was like a whole new game.

Battle Horn Castle for Oblivion wasn't to shabby either.

Hmm, probably the Cerberus Network for Mass Effect 2. I love Zaeed. Everything he says is so badass.

I'd say the free DLC for Mass Effect 2 was quite fun, though I'm not too sure about paying 4 bucks or so for a character and one mission. But the free stuff has been great so far.

Fallout 3 had some pretty sweet DLC, for a fair price at the time I guess.

I really do prefer a expansion, and I'm not sure why we've gotten away from this, especially with consoles now having HDDs and being more like PCs every generation. Most DLC is just shit, new gun for the game, wow thanks for 4 dollars? That's a real bargain! *sarcasm*

By far the WORST DLC is Modern Warfare 2's, 3 new levels and 2 old levels from CoD4 for FIFTEEN DOLLARS!? I can get complete games for the same price that are far longer and are actually worth it, it's highway robbery. It's not even an excuse that you play them over and over, it's too expensive for this crap.

Considering there are DLC packs that add up to like 5 hours of gameplay, new gear, new well everything, and charge less, that's just batshit.

Hmm, lets see:

The first batch of Dragon Age: Oranges content... even though technically I didn't download it.

Mass Effect 2: Kasumi, Zaeed and Overlord. All very entertaining and actually contain storylines consistant with the overall game.

Fallout 3, Point Lookout. Just because I loved shooting people who 'an't fom round 'ere ' with a double barrel shotgun.

But mostly DLC sucks something fierce.
