How very shallow of you, I feel sorry for someone who judges me by my name on an internet forum.
Well I guess I should have said I was comparing names to avatar. Posts are important, the most important for judging people but between avatar and name, a name is far more memorable than an avatar. See I don't have any familiarity with your avatar, or most people really.
Posts are important, apart from my name which you felt was perfectly at home in your example of deriding someone because of their name. It was a dick move of the highest order.

On the contrary, I would say that it is the avatars that are more memorable than the names, and I'm sure the vast majority on these forums will agree with me.
Well that's yours and a lot of people's opinions. I can remember a few people by avatar, but I have yet to forget who someone is by their name.

I'm going to agree with you on that one. I tend to do things before I plan them out. I'm not usually this shallow just so you know.

Mine involves a game that's notorious for controversy, so I really woulden't know what people think of me.
You like to murder people using plastic bags?
No, I use Paper now. The economy is garbage, so you have to cut back wherever you can.
You should probably commit to a bag for life. Just incase one of your victims can fight themselves out of a paper bag.

Did I really just type that?

Not usually but if you're pretty new and have either no avatar or a Zero Punctuation avatar then I won't take you as seriously. I don't know why, but that's it.

Yes, you did, and I think you should compost your things right after the murder (if you didn't). Did I just sympathize with nature?

They only affect me if they're really cool. I'm more likely to pay attention to their posts, for sure.
But I prefer to judge people by what they have to say. It's much more effective that way.

If I have an opinion of someone but I'm still unsure, the avatar will give me a bit of a more clear decision on what kind of person they are.

I keep on expecting the Escapist superman shirt not to be there on your avatar.
Ugh. Damned dirty thoughts! Out of my head!

I don't tend to look over that way unless they created the forum or made a funny/interesting post.

Do you get affected by people's avatars and start building assumptions about them? Has happened to me, even though I try not to.
YAY for Vincent and no I usually don't care about avatars too much they're just pretty pictures.
