I never pay enough attention to people to recognize more than their name and possibly avatar.
And I don't get friendly with most people online, and almost never on forums, so I doubt I'm anywhere near famous.

I dont know the user above me...I like the avatar though. Would remember if I saw it somewhere. I do notice a bunch of other people though, mostly through their avats, so if anyone changes it, ill be lost again.

Yep.I´ve seen Jedamethis before around here. But i doubt anyone will recognize me. I only registered recently. And i´ve already changed my avatar.

I figured, surely I can not be the only one on here who wonders whether the other escapists are beginning to recognize me; so I decided to make this thread.
It's really simple: Do you want to know if people are getting used to seeing you around the forums? Then post here, and tell the user above you whether you've seen him/her around.

To boost your ego I enjoy seeing your avatar because it usually means a nice post is coming. I'm glad you're here.

I've been here long enough to probably have recognition, although I doubt its one of any merit.

I recognize you too. That is, unless you're some strange person who have stolen that heavy avatar from someone else on this forum (it is the heavy, right?)
I only very rarely recognize people by name (such as Neonbob or Furburt or FargoDog or Pimppeter)

So I recognize your avatar, but I don't think I've seen you much these last few weeks. Have you been inactive? Or maybe you just post in other forums than me?

As for whether or not people recognise me, probably not.
I am not particularily special and I don't post as often as others.
I do not see this as a bad thing, however. Recognition is the last thing I want.
