Not for manliness (which, of course, it has in spades), but because its a great game to get you pumped:

While God of War takes a good second place here, Space Marine takes the man price with ease. It's a game where taking cover is considered to be an act of cowardice, and you beat the shit out of green space-gorilla-fungi(aka orkz and gretchin) by using chainsaws, automatic rocket launchers and jetpacks.

To anyone mentioning Gears as their top manly game, play SM, and then look me straight in the eye and tell me that being a wuss that survives by attaching your spine to surfaces and shooting around corners is more manly than dishing out the fury of the Emperor. >=[

Also, a honorable mention goes to playing Nightmare in Soul Calibur, as well as God Hand.
