My ears can only hear a certain number of words per second which means I'm still none the wiser about a lot of the lyrics on Green Day's latest album. And I can only keep up with about 40% of SOAD's lyrics.

On topic and the subject of Green Day I initially thought American Idiot's chorus began "Welcome to a new competition"

it's not really that funny.

It's the Venus razor advert, with the people singing "I'm your Venus". The trouble is they say it 'Ven-ihs' not 'Ven-uhs' and as such they honestly sound like they're singing "I'm your penis".

I mean it. Listen to it at some point and tell me it doesn't sound like that.
