Personally, anything with chicken feet and 3 fingers cant possibly look human. She could have tentacle face for all we know! However I think this is how the situation will go:

Exactly. She's a great example of "less is more". The less they show of her the more your brain fills in the gaps. On top of that, her mainly covered appearance mostly negates initial looks-based attraction, so gamers develop an emotional connection first.Furburt said:

We know that they have basic humanoid features (two eyes, nose, mouth), that they're reportedly 'slightly less squishy' than Asari or Humans, and that their eyes appear to glow - similar to cats perhaps. I've heard a bit of talk that Quarians might have scales, though I forget if that was backed up or not.
I believe they won't show her face, leaving us in perpetual wonder. I've seen some fanart which depicts her as basically a Space Night Elf. I don't buy it personally, though she probably is hot.

Anyway, I couldn't help but choose Tali as my Shepard's love interest on my first playthrough. She's always been a fantastic character, and she's damn helpful in combat (sort of). I don't know if she's going to be "hot," but I doubt Bioware will have let players sex up a disgusting blight on existence itself.

Whatever her face is it will be a disappointment to some people. Part of Tali's appeal is the mystery of her appearance (her face anyway, I think we all have a pretty good idea what her body looks like) so Bioware could make her look like the love child of Penelope Cruz and Angelina Jolie and some people would hate it. Personally it won't matter too much if she's not drop dead gorgeous. Like most here I fell for her personality and character, though the hips didn't hurt.
That being said, we know she looks human and Shepard didn't react in horror when he saw her so I'm guessing she'll turn out to be pretty attractive. Or at least I hope. I mean, Bioware can't be that evil can they?

Anyway, the whole romance with her was just forced into the game. Quarians shouldn't even be able to take of their suits, the only places the can do that is in specalized sterile ships in the migrant fleet, and even then only long enough to have sex to reproduce.
When you found the Marine leader, he was shot, and it punctured the suit. He was saved thanks to a shit load of antibiotics and medicine. Now stuff like this can't be cheap, and is probably only available to improtant people. All he got was a minor infection, and he was still put out for a week.
If a marine commander, a quarian in the prime of his life, and who was saved solely by a shit load of antibiotics, was put out of commision for a week by a minor infection, there is no way Tali should be able to take her suit off in the Normandy.
