Like video games have the bad rap of being called murder simulaters, is Metal music still called evil and a threat to people?
Somewhere out there, someone is still probably calling Jazz "the devil's music."Thedarkness77 said:Like video games have the bad rap of being called murder simulaters, is Metal music still called evil and a threat to people?

Lolz I was just thinking about that today. I went to a Lutheran middle school, so many years ago, and for some reason they banned the Harry Potter books but they actually stocked the Golden Compass trilogy ... of course this was a few years before that movie came out, so I don't think they really knew what they had put on the shelf lol. On the other hand, they basically worshiped the Narnia series (We had a class where the only thing we did was sit in the dark classroom and listen to all the Narnia series on audiobook, to get us ready for the movie that would be out shortly). The thing is, Narnia and Potter have so much in common. They're both based in magical fictitious universes, they both have witches, they're both written by Christan authors, and they both teach Christian values. It's just that one is an epic masterpiece and the other is a poorly written, furry biblical allegory.Lilani said:I'm sure a few do. They're probably the same ones who think Harry Potter and the Golden Compass are products of the devil meant to corrupt our children.
