I have a somewhat meagre collection of Empire magazines. it's still growing though.plus I have the twentieth anniversary edition, which will be worth a pretty penny someday.
I'm glad theres not too many people saying they collect replica swords and stuff like I was kinda expecting. Those things are tacky to the extreme.
I used to collect Warhammer 40K for a while, but stopped when I realised it was a waste of money, and I just grew out of it. I'm still a sucka for 40K video games though, old habits die hard I guess
I sort of collect dragon figurines. I don't go out of my way to find them but I see one I like and I can get it I will.
When I was little I tried collecting perfume bottles. My mom had lots where she would throw the bottles away after she was done. But I thought they were all so pretty I kept some of them. They've gone missing since then though. I may start collecting them again now that I personally am getting more into perfume.
Systems. Right now I have:NES, SNES, Gamegear, Genesis, Sega CD, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3, XBOX 360, DS, and PSP. It's hard to find some of the older systems at a decent price but I'll keep trying.
Metal Gear Games. I shit you not I have every version of Metal Gear 1, 2, and 3. Other than that, I don't collect much, though I am going to get back into older generations of gaming just to experience what I missed. Not to mention the games are dirt cheap.
Games, I started with my N64 and now I have quite the extensive collection. It spans an xbox, gamecube, xbox 360, PS3, N64, PSP, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, and Nintendo DS.
My Dad had a shit load of original albums in mint condition. I used to collectg beast wars. I have both rampage and depthcharge. It's sad that I could never find dinobot.
Concert shirts - every show I go to, I get a shirt.
Magic Hat beer bottle caps - they all have little rhyming messages on the underside. I have about half a growler full (haven't had any Magic Hat in a while)
I seem to collect unplayed games and unread books faster than anything else; the rate at which I consume said items is noticeably slower than the rate at which I acquire them.
