Fairly often, sad things in TV shows or movies get me every time, and books to. I also cry when I?m really angry. Pixar though, they know how to hit it were it hurts.

You know, crying wouldn?t be so bad if it weren?t for the damn snot.

Doctor Who

...what? If you didn't cry when he lost Rose (first or second one doesn't matter) then you are no human!

I love how threads like these always bring out the hardest hardasses of the hardass internet.
I wonder if anyone believes all that...

Apart from that, I don´t think crying or not crying has that much to do with being strong or not. I know people that never cry, but just get drunk when they are sad, which is pretty much the same thing somehow, just expressed differently.

We all learn not to cry in public if we can with any means help it, and I´m fine with that. Trying to express your emotions to people not interessted in them is out of place, I think.
But if you are alone, or with closest friends it is actually quite a good vent.

Oh yes, the last time I cried was watching the end of Code Geass a few months ago. But I used to cry ALOT.

I cried about two weeks ago.

I was so pissed at myself that I ended up breaking down a bit. 7 to 8 years of bottled up emotions just came out.

So.............yeah...........-_-

I cry quite a lot more frequently that I'd like to...

Sometimes it's from watching a really sad film or reading a really sad book (finished the Mistborn trilogy recently and the ending had me bawling like a little girl). Plus it seems I'm constantly on the edge of a total emotional breakdown, for which I can thank years of low self worth (various causes for that) and a bunch of so called "friends" recently deciding to turn on me in one of the most heartless ways imaginable.

But then again I don't really see crying to be a bad thing for a guy to do. I've always found it to be far worse to bottle your tears up.

I don't really cry that much at all. I've been saddened by a good movie sometimes, but I don't think my eyes water up, let alone a tear crawl down my cheek. Probably because I just bottle up negative emotions most of the time. Not saying I'm tough or anything, I'm sure its unhealthy and that one day I'll snap and either break down and kill myself or go on a killing spree (depends whether anger or despair claim me first).

The last time I cried was many months ago when I saw "Germans in the Woods" on Youtube.
[small]It's a true story from a U.S. Soldier who fought in the Battle of the Bulge.[/small]
I still feel depressed when I watch it. I'm easily moved.

It's never quite crying, but I'll often feel like I should be. It's always for weird reasons too.

I keep randomly coming up with ideas that contradict everything I know, and then it feels like there's nothing left to bind my knowledge and thoughts to, which is really hard to describe without sounding like a stoner or a pretentious philosophy student.

I also get random thoughts of helplessness and aimlessness which I can't get rid of with the knowledge that I have absolute power over my own life. It's horrible to keep imaging the things I can't convince myself I won't fail at.

I truly almost never cry. The only time that wasn't because of a movie/game/book was when I lost my dog. (We managed to find her though) And no matter what, a tear has never rolled down my face for anything in recent memory.

The closest I came to it was the ending of RDR & Toy Story 3. BOth for obvious reasons if you've seen them.

I don't cry at all... i think the last time I really got tears in my eyes was when my little brother mistook a hug and planted his knee in my groin. i guess it's a little funny in hindsight. almost got tears in my eyes a few weeks ago, when I got rather harshly rejected. I think she must've done it accidentally cause we're still friends (sortof) and I can't imagine her being mean enough to do that on purpose... but I never cry at funerals or sad movies. I just get grumpy and depressed at funerals and melancholic at sad movies.

Due to sadness: Um, I really can't remember. It was quite some time ago, and it probably wasn't that big of a deal really.
Due to happiness: I laughed myself to tears a couple of weeks ago, after seeing a photoshop of our class picture that was uploaded to Facebook. Suffice to say, it was golden.
Due to anger: It must have been during one of my temper tantrums as a kid.

Due to any wind more powerful than a very gentle gust: ALL. THE. FRIGGIN'. TIME.

I've found that my soul slowly dies as the years go on, and it become harder and harder to cry even if I want too, example, my father died two years ago, not one tear.
