I come close fairly often, but I try really hard to stop myself from just letting them out. Most of the time this sort of thing happens when I am in a really depressed mood and am thinking about stuff that's bothering me. Nobody else sees me in that state though, so... its not like it matters whether I cover it up for myself or not. I just... do.
Today..Seeing my Dad cry for the first time in a long long time after seeing his brother one more time before he became ash made me and the rest of the family cry like no tomorrow.
I only weep from my penis.

The last time I shed a tear was about 5 years ago. I was walking home from... somewhere... work or Blockbuster or something... and the song "Within a Mile Of Home" by Flogging Molly played on my MP3 player. This was "our song" with a particularly special girl with whom I had a bad breakup. For about two years afterward I shed a tear or two every time I heard that song.Boneasse said:

Honestly, I cannot remember the last time. Maybe it was when I was a tough, emotionally distant ***** who blew up Megaton with an unexploded nuke just for laughs and watched it from a safe distance while hobnobbing with the rich and powerful at Tuppenny Tower. Or perhaps standing on a platform on an unnamed planet, looking out at the massive army ready to serve my conquering commands as I curb stomped the Galactic Community. Or maybe it was when I watched 'UP' as well.
I actually am a pretty empathic person, so yeah, I'll tear up a lot. (Note that this is distinct from "crying" to me, because in order to call it "crying", I consider that you have to shed a decent amount of tears, get your cheeks wet, be all sniffley for a while, etc.)
But the funny thing is, I usually only cry out of evoked sadness, sense of loss, tragedy, or extreme joy, etc. I almost never cry out of personal situations, such as happiness, frustration, anger, or pain.

When Aragorn was crowned in 'Return of the King' : a few tears rolled
When I discovered my car had been stolen : not even close

EDIT: the two times I can think of that I cried over personal situations were when I gave my father's eulogy, and when my wife walked down the aisle to marry me.

I'm 20 now. I've cried probably two times since I was 12, one was during my uncle's funeral and one was at a parent's evening at my school (one teacher had the ability to make me cry, my grades in his subject, Physics, were so bad - ironically I managed an A at GCSE and did A-Level Physics in sixth form too...). I didn't even cry at my grandfather's funeral, even though I was really close to him. I think my uncle dying earlier that year toughened me up a bit, which is interesting because before then I was a really sensitive kid who'd cry at the first provocation.
So there you have it. Aside from extreme pain or fits of laughter, I've cried twice since I was 12. Eight years without crying is pretty good going, but sometimes I do miss being able to cry when something happens. I tend to let my feelings bottle up inside me instead, which I'm lucky that I rarely have any strong bad feelings to bottle up...

OT though. I cried last month. I'm a fairly hard person to make cry, but a friend of mine, who I hadn't seen in...about 6 years passed away.
I didn't even know what was going on with them, but this term, I recognized his brother in my one of my classes and did some catching up. He told me that his brother, who was 18, had had some sort of accident. He fell and hit his head on the curb. Soemone found him, but no one knows what happened. He was in a coma for a while, but passed away in September.
I went to the memorial service and spoke...or rather, I tried to speak. I hadn't seen him in years, but we were really close when we were at the same school. We were like brothers, nearly inseperable.
I never thought that the next time I'd see him would be because he had died. He was a year younger than me. Even though we had fallen out of contact with each other, it's still hard to believe that he's gone.
