Just something of a curiosity to me... Fellow Escapists, do you or don't you drink alcohol? For either answer, for what reason?
I don't, mainly because I don't like the taste. As I said earlier, just something of a curiosity to me.
Not until nintendo will fart out a good game, not in the million years!

I partake in small amounts of alcohol every once in a while but in general, no, I don't drink.

Only as a 'special occasion' kind of thing. For instance: During the 4th of July, I drank a few Mike's Hard Lemonades in addition to snacking on hotdogs for the duration of the fireworks. Or maybe if I go to some place like Chili's, I'll have a Bahama Mama or a margarita, or something...but otherwise, there's no way I'm going to become a drunkard or have a beer belly. :p

So, in short: Yes. Only fruity, girly drinks, but still. Yes.

I don't drink often and try to avoid it at parties I had a bit of an experience one time (wasn't werewolfs but still... one of em stole my hairbrush another stole my belt (and it was an UGLY belt too it was just the comfortable one *cry*))

If I do drink either a strong beer (not guiness something like pitbull16 which is 10.2%) a glass of scotch/whiskey or some mixed drink like a mai tai.

Yes, and as a matter of fact I'm going to try some honey whiskey right now. That's right, honey and whiskey combined.

I'm excited.

I do, but very sparingly. Once I'm 21, I'll probably go to a bar every once in a while. I live in RI, and in the town of Woonsocket, there is a dump. And in the middle of that dump... is a bar. My guitarist owes me a Boston Lager there on my birthday next year.

Beer is too awesome to not drink.

It just tastes nice, and if you're drunk before the point of being wasted enough to puke/pass out, it is a godamn brilliant feeling.

I plead the fifth of Jack.

No, but seriously, I drink. :p

Unfortunately, I'm 6'7" and scott-irish. If I want to actually get smashed, I need to fast for the day and drink something that is 100 proof or higher. About 1/3 of a 1.75 liter jug of Captain Morgan 100 is enough to get me loose.

I'm a very expensive drunk to say the least.

Nope. Don't really intend on making a fool of myself. I'll just watch others, that's more fun.

I stayed away from alcohol for about 24yrs. I'm also a bouncer at a bar. The Christmas party was open bar from 8-11. So I figured why the hell not, if I get drunk and out of hand, there are plenty of people around me who can take my ass out if need be. I gave my car keys to my gf at the time, and she let me get my drink on. Every year after that I've tried to outdo myself, but I still haven't managed to get all that drunk. (Mind you drunk enough to not drive) but not drunk enough for a hangover or anything else. 1st time a did 9 shots and 3 big mixed drinks. 2nd time I did about 11 shots and 2 big mixed drinks. 3rd time I did about 16 shots and 4 big mixed drinks. Overall, I don't like going out of my way to spend money on alcohol, (It's an expensive hobby) so I try to do it when it's cheap or preferably free. As far as actually enjoying alcohol, I could take it or leave it. It's just something else to add to my list of life experiences.

For all you US folk out there who can drink, I give you Evan Williams HONEY Reserve kentucky bourbon.

Whiskey with a heavy does of honey flavor, 70 proof. Best part? 14.99 at Meijer. Taxes of course vary from state to state, but that's a damn good price.

Go forth, fellow whiskey enthusiasts.
