Yes, my life has a direction, and it's generally downward.

I just want to help my kids get through college and into decent careers so they can have a better life than I have. After that ... whatever.

Im in a long distace relationship with a girl who im worried might kill herself at any moment, and i can do nothing about it, at the moment i am keeping her alive. Worried that i will not be able to get into the college i want or later on what job i could get with the major i intend to get. I am under constant pressure to finish my eagle scout, also so i can finally come out of the closet. But eh, things could be worse.

Yes, I believe my life is going around in a big, squiggly circle :D That counts as having direction, right?

My husband and I've got the next few years mapped out pretty well, though. I'm graduating high-school, taking a year off for the baby, and then going for my psychology degree at our community college. After that, I hope to be hired by our local mental health clinic. They've been short on staff since they opened, so I'm sure there will still be at least one position for me there by the time I get out of college.

At the same time, he's re-opening his family's woodworking business, starting a commercial watermelon garden, and plans on joining the town council sometime next year. In 5 years or so, we should both be fairly well off if everything goes according to plan.

Not really.

Finished high school last summer, started writing a novel, realized I'm a shit author and now I'm trying to find entry level work cause I was a slacker for my last two years of school.

Well, at least I don't have student loans.
A professional writer is an amateur who never gave up.

Good writing comes with practice. Maybe things will never go as you'll really want them to, but always keep it on the side if you really want to get good at it.

That goes for everybody else here as well.

With that said, I just hope I can get a job so I CAN do the stuff I want to.

Other than Forward, through time; Nope.

That's only because I've finished school, have a career, and have effectively plateaued in all of "life's pursuits"; think most people would call it a 'rut' or 'the lonely spiral of depression felt only by the cogs of society'. No goal, no direction... On to the next thread.

Been out of high school for a couple of months and I've spent nearly the whole time at home. In short: no. Doesn't bother me though. I enjoy this lifestyle.

No. not really. I feel like my life has slowly been getting worse over the last few years. I'm debating going back to school or not right now and trying to change careers. (edited this a bit. didn't like how i wrote it before)
