OT:No, because I don't play mw2 online often enough and it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. If it was real life it would be stupid, but a game I can understand.

That's silly. Everyone knows you use Marathon, not Ninja. And no, since I am a knifer proudly stabbing people with my Tactical Knife. It's fun as hell.

Clearly intentional build, considering that one of the standard loadouts at level 1 is a knifer build (although they deliberately gimp them a little, this one has ninja over commando)

A knife monkey with a UMP45 makes an excellent flag/bomb runner, and they're pretty important, since they're the highest mobility class.

Seriously. If they are stupid enough to knife people, they deserve a burst to the head, a grenade on the corpse and getting teabagged by their own teammates.

And if you play badly enough to actually get knifed, freaking knifed in an FPS game about warfare with firearms... you deserve everything that happens to you and some extra to boot.

That's weird, cause I use an all knife tactic, and I usually get almost highest score on most matches. But I guess my strategy is based on pure luck.

Play the actual game before judging.

Yes, it can be annoying (although I don't camp, I can't snipe worth excrement), but I do it myself every now and again for fun. But mostly I still rely on my trusty SCAR-H with Heartbeat Sensor and Silencer (temporarily reassigned to HBS and FMJ, until I get those 40 bloody penetration kills), or my newly unlocked AUG HBAR.

I don't, however, noob-tube - the last time I did that was when I got the FAL (which I want to get at least 7 or 8 unlocks for) and I used the M203 until I got the 20 kills required for the Shotgun.

IRL, maybe, but in MW2? My skill level is permanently stuck somewhere between "arthritis" and "monkey", but I can get easily three times as many kills when I go knifing, and if there's a pro knifing his way through the game, you can bet he's gonna end up with twice as many kills as the next guy. It's easy as can be, it requires reflexes, not skill.

Getting knifed always angers me, it just seems so insulting its like "Oh, I made no effort to kill you, I didn't even break my stride" I really hate it, but I so it too and its a major game mechanic, that doesn't stop it from pissing me the fuck off.

No, cause I don't camp. I do find them annoying when they run up behind me and knife me before I notice, but I don't hate them.

No. they can't kill you from far away, and if I let a guy get within stabbing distance while using an M16 or a barret 50 cal I probably SHOULD get killed.

But personally there is so much cheap shit in this game that I just can't get angry anymore cause otherwise I rage every game.
